All behaviors has meaning. Don't take it personally if your boss has developed an attitude lately. His attitude is not about you, it's about himself unable to cope positively with something, and his only way of coping is perhaps what you see when he's in front of you. You can ask him, "You seem____[sad, angry, frustrated, fill in the blank], would you like to talk about it." It may help when he has someone to listen to him, or at least let out some of the things inside of him, but please don't take it personally.
Talk to your boss about how his attitude his affecting you. He may not realize it unless you tell him kindly. If you still can stand your boss' attitude, you can outweight the pros and cons with keeping the job before you decide to quit. Remember what was your goal in taking the job in the first place and focus on that goal when you had enough of it. Good luck!!

I think you should get a GOOD job. You have been doing office work. Get a REAL job at an office. You should be able to find somehting that pays fairly well and that has potential for advancement. It would also have set hours and benefits.
Start looking at companies, not stores or restaurants. You can safely say that you have been an office manager at this job and that you worked with little or no supervision.

You zould better to talk with your boss. Tell him about all yuor [problems. May be he will get your point and everything will be ok as it used to be. If it doesn`t work out, stay at the company still> I don`t think waitress is a good idea in your situation since you have a child. This kind of job is more for students.
I hope everything will be ok.

Try to find ways to impress your current boss. Then start You a part time business on the side (One You think You might like doing that fits your schedule) and still look for the same
type of work with another Employer. If You really like the work You do now then You should stay with it because your chance of success is greater.

If your boss used to be nice but has an attitude lately, then maybe something temporary is bothering him and he will get over it and go back to being nice.
Could you find out what is bothering him and ask him if there is anything you can do?
If he still has an attitude, then you need to speak to recruitment consultants who can mention jobs that are right for you. Try michaelpage or monster.com

If you're not comfortable about the waitressing job, keep looking until you've found one you're comfortable with before quitting your present job. Don't look too much into your boss' negative attitude, think of the positive.
