i have some money in the bank and i want to put it into something else rather than just a bank account. Maybe a GIC. anything else i can do with it that will give me more intrest.
im willing to keep it in the bank for about 2 years.

I have bad/terrible credit history, but will like to open a business...does anybody know any bank that loans money with people who has bad credit?

I pay over 1,200 dollars a month for a two bedroom apartment in Oakbrook Terrace Il, when I first moved in it was the perfect place to live. Now there are fights in the club house, gang signs drawn on the doors, and a lot of less than desirable tenants. The rumor running ramped through the complex is that they have started to allow Section 8 to live here. I pay way too much money a month for this place to turn into a project. When I asked the office if this were true they said no, I also asked if it were true would they tell me and they said they would not have to inform the other tenants. Is there anything I can do? How can I even find out if there is Section 8 in my apartment complex? It is not like I can ask them "so how is life on welfare treating you" HELP! I want them out, let them go and live in the ghetto!! It is not fair that I have to pay over 1,200 dollars a month and they get to live here for damn near free!!!!

I got a property under my name and I transferred (Quick Claim)the title under somebody else but the loan is still under my name, can I legally get it back (Bad business deal)?

keeps calling me and asking me the same questions about my marketing plan and income. I sense he has a fear of failure and he is trying to use my success as a gauge as to whether or not he will succed or not. I told him "there is not magic bullet and he just needs to make as many contacts with potential clients as he can. It's a contact sport when it comes to marketing a service business"

This guy calls me every 3 months and asks the same questions over and over as if I can tell him some secret to success. I really want to tell this guy to stop calling me. Some folks will not "pull the trigger". They will talk and talk and talk and will never do anything to change there lives. Any advice on what to tell this guy?


By the way I think this guy is 50 y/o

I am looking to leave my current job of six months in Phoenix for another completely different job in LA. I want to move to the East Coast to be near family, but I can't do that with my current company (its only on the West Coast). With my new company, I can transfer to the East Coast after a year or so. I am also applying to jobs on the East Coast, some of which I might get. There's a chance that I will take the new job in LA, then get offered a job I want on the East Coast soon afterwards. What do I do? I have no children, but I hate to uproot my wife like that and send her head spinning. I also don't want to conduct career suicide.

My mom got me an mp3 player and I already have one. I called Best Buy and they said without a receipt they can't return it. What kind of customer satisfaction is that? She tried looking it up under my mom's name and my aunt's.. nothing came up except my aunt's tv.

my mother has a citizens bank line of credit, she also has a checking account with them every time she pays them it comes from her checking account, i wanted to pay this bill completely off for her, but i dont see anyway i can pay without using her checking account, my question is can i or how do i pay the line of credit with my savings account or with a credit card?

After several calls/emails to seettle an issue with the other tenant about their overflowing trash and about some plumbing problems, the Property Manager hired by the owner to "manage" for her(owner is 92) gave us a 60-day-Notice to Vacate. When we asked Why? she said""I'm just tired of all the calls and emails". We know this is Retaliation, but there is no mediation board, no tenants rights group, no Advocacy lawyer here in Humboldt County. And we're told all the lawyers work for the companies/real estate agents.
