We have property in Las Vegas, we live in Las Vegas. I am just trying to find a place that reports or even calculates what people are paying per square foot for building a home in Las Vegas. Just an idea. Like $100/sq foot or something. Anybody know what it is (source please) or where on the web you can do that? Thanks!

New car with a warranty but I can't afford to pay more than 100.00 a month. Afraid I would be turned down for a loan. Any suggestions? Need a car every day and the one I drive is on its last legs : ( Have an SUV and would love to stay in one, nothing fancy.

Today I was interviewed by a panel of 3 people at North East ISD. (A local major school district) for a clerical position.
The problem is, I only remember the assistant pricipals name and not the other two people.

1. How should I address it?
2. What should I say?

I had an idea all these credit cards you can get and have thousands of dollars in credit at your disposal, there has to be something you could buy with all that credit and turn around and sell it again and make sure the card gets paid off in 30 days to miss the interest, and use the credit card companys money to make money with somehow? just a thought!

If your credit is not that great and the rent is around $550, it's not a fancy place. Just an average apartment biulding. What are the chances of getting turned down on the lease?

So this is the deal, I hold a credit card with AMEX, and the other day while asking them something, they said that I was pre-approved for the AMEX Preferred Rewards Green Card. If I was to get it, this should help me raise my credit score, since I then can use my current credit card only up to 10% of my credit limit -to help my credit score, while using the Preferrerd Rewards card to collect membership reward points without worring about affecting my credit score. Am I right on this thought pattern??

I have always paid my balance in full ever since I got the AMEX credit card, so I don't think it'll be a problem for me to pay the Preferred Rewards Charge Card in full every month. My concern is, if I get the charge card, would this show in my credit reports? If it does, how would getting the Preferred Rewards Green Card affect the credit report (since the charge card doesn't have a preset limit)?

I tried contacting the AMEX customer repr. but they said it may or may not affect.

Hurricane Katrina came ashore 2 years ago and completely leveled our home. All that is left is a slab. It is still a residential area and are considering donating the property for a family to rebuild a home there. We have bought a new home and do not wish to hold on to this property. What would be the best thing to do. Sell, Donate or just sit on the property for a long term investment?

Financial Plan
Balance Sheet
Current Assets:
Building $150,000
5 computer $5,995

Furnishings $5,000 if I go for a good atmosphere, you’ll need more than that probably, unless you get money from the government (you are promoting culture in the end!)
Equipment $1,000
Cash
Arlene $5,000
April $4,500
Accounts Receivable
None
Inventory
Coffee $1,000
Tea $500
Other Assets
Cups $3,000
Total Current Assets
$24,005
Liabilities:
Accounts Payable (monthly)
Water $200
Phone $150
Electric $500
Donut Vendor $1,000
Warehouse Club $1,000
Coffee Distributor $1,000
Wages $5,000
Advertising $1,000
Taxes Payable
Property Taxes $500
Employee Taxes $2,000
Operating Loans Payable
Startup Loan $500
Printer $ 97
Total Liabilities
$12,947 on going per month
Projected Income
March 05
Coffee $6,000
Tea $2,000
Cookies $1,500
Donuts $2,500
Misc. $4,000
Total Income for March
$16,000
Total Projected Net Profit (Cost/Benefit)
$3,150 for March
This would assume 20 pots of coffee sold a day, plus an assortment of other items. This also assumes the market will not increase or decrease due to weather or economics. This would be an average month.

I had put in an application for a job and I went to an interview with the head boss and I got the job and I was suppose to come back in wednesday for my schedule and to bring all my documents. I start friday. So the manager (not the head boss) called me today to come in wednesday but she said for an interview. I'm thinking maybe she made a mistake or do I actually need to be interviewed twice. Because when you come in with documents and get uniforms I though it was called an orentation or training. So my question is .. has anyone applied for a job and had to get interviewed twice ?

Should I beat up my ex-boss? He just fired me from my computer programming job. And, I am not young anymore. I am 56 even though I am still strong and youthful. But, I cannot get a new job in my field. This is not like the 1980's when I could just walk in and get hired. Getting a new job is tough these days. And, my skills are more suited for the 1990's. And, even if I take classes, the employers want experience with the latest technology. So, my high salary days are over. I will need to get a security guard job now. I think the only solution is to beat up my ex-boss.
