if i consider doing a short sale on my home. who is paying taxes end of yr? is it me? We owe 400K less than what buyer is offering, who will get taxed? is it true that we will have to pay? please let me know. is forclosing better! whats the benefit of short sale!

note: were still not late on our mortgage, but, there is no way to pay it anymore, its 7k a month, and NO way to refi, and NO way to SELL!

i lived an copper mill apartments for 3 years. for 35 months i paid w/ a check. the last months rent was paid orgianally w/ a check. it bounced. i paid all fees w/ money order. the said sums were paid by me and a third party. my portial was not "paid" although i turned it it. i think it was stolen. i was never contacted until 2/07. by that time the balance was 1100. i couldnt talk w/ them. no one answerd calls and the head guy was rasict. he then began taking on fees not requested at first, or by apt complex for a larger pocket claim. since i lived there and its a "said amount" efifax wont do ne thing. so i have to get to copper mill and thier reps to dispute and tell them what happend. but they wont speak to me b/c it said its in collec

I work in a prominent conventions facility. It is part of my job (team leader) to be in charge of new employees. For the past 2 years, no problems.

Recently two new workers have caused me much inconvenience, I spend all night chasing them up & neglecting the other workers. They disappear & I find them doing some irrelevent task. I ask them to go back to their job, recieve resistance & often return to find them off again. They continually question my judgement. They refuse to do things the way we are supposed to: little things like how a table should be set, on which our company has strict guidelines.
I approached them regarding the attitude & was quickly told that they have studied hospitality & are therefore more qualified for my job than I am. My superiors are aware & have encouraged me to get nasty with them and give them the crappiest jobs. But I am far from a push-over as it is & I don't think it is appropriate to bully them, I have always got on well with my colleagues.

I am moving to India. I have worked here for the last 40 years. What is the best way to get social security in India. Should I leave my account in USA and heave it deposited direct in my account and withdraw it in India. or what should I do. Any help would be appreciated.

I have three kids I need to support, I have decided it's time to get off of welfare and get back to work. (before you start ragging on me about welfare, all three of my kids were born premature and had special needs until about 2 years of age, my youngest will be 3 in Feb.) I don't have my GED because I never had time to go to the mandatory GED classes here, but I really would rather not flip burgers. What would be a good entry level position somewhere? I also have terrible credit, and a conviction for passing bad checks four years ago. How limited are my job prospects because of these things? Would a factory somewhere hire me? I live in NW Ohio, there are a lot of factories here. Any advice is appreciated.

I don't know how the whole thing works. What is coin insurance? It will be My husband, my daughter, and myself on a plan. When i type all that in and then it gives me the decuctable. Is that per person or per family? And how come some say two person maxium. Does that mean it would only cover two people?? Also how come no one covers maternity anymore. i don't need it now. but i plan to have more kids in the future. I live in WI. Any good health insurance out there. I am so lost. I really don't know what I could major in. Nothing I'm good at could really make a living. I'm an artist, sketching, mostly, and alittle bit of painting. I love animals, and I know that whatever I do, I would like to work with animals. I highly doubt I'd make a very good business woman. The only plan i've got right now is to become a pet groomer at petsmart or something, then get married and be a houswife and stay at home mom, then when my kids are older, i could have a doggie day care. but what happens if i need to make a living and support my family no my own? I don't know what I should go to college for. Would anyone have any idea what kind of career a person like me migh be good at?

I have an interview with HR in a few days, and they have already sent me the application to fill out. Under the employment history there is also salary history. Should I just leave this blank, or fill it out accurately, or inflate my salary just a little bit? Some of my friends say to inflate just a little bit (everyone does it supposedly?). I know that I am a little underqualified for the position, and my salary shows it. What would you do???
