First, your parents would have to open a credit card account and put you on as an authorized user. You have to be at least 18 to be able to legally sign a contract. You need to sign a contract with the bank to get a credit card.
When your parents put you on their account as an authorized user, you will get your own card with your name on it.

When I was 16 I got a bank debit card. Which can be used in place as a credit card for ordering on the internet. You must be 18yrs old and have a source of income(job) to get american express visa etc
why? A contract can be worthless if your under the age of 18 because you are still a minor. I took Business Law elective classes. They, the credit card companies, don't want to get screwed if you back out of a contract.
It's not the issue if you've got enough money or not. It's that you're a minor. 12 is def. to young to have a credit card.

Ask a parent. Then they'll take you to the bank and apply for one. Most likely you will have a shared account with your parents since... You can't get one without their permission.

You cannot because you cannot enter into a legal contract, and lets face it you have no income to pay it
