I am going to be taking out a loan from a bank in order to pay off all of my credit card debt. On a few of my cards, I am over 30 days late on payments. Citi Card is calling constantly, lol. On some cards, I am caught up, but may be behind by the time I receive the funds from the loan. Would it be possible for me to negotiate with the credit card companies to reverse all late/over limit fees by tempting them that I will pay in full if they comply? Would they potentially be willing to reverse more than the current late/over limit fees? Either way, I will pay them in full...but I want to save as much $ as possible in the process.

I think the digital sign is the way of the future since most gas stations seem to be switching to them (it avoids having to go outside and switch the little plastic digits with the long pole). I am intrested in investing in the Company that patented this if there is a sole company that makes these. Is there one or is it just a bunch or small companys and the gas stations are just getting them potentially just about anywhere. Ive tried researching them and havent came up with much...if you can help thank you.

I sold some tickets to a guy, he paid me with a personal check, but the check was returned, with the legend "Unable to locate account". So, basically, this scum gave me a fake check. I have his home phone number, I know his name, but, what it is available for me to get my money back, or, make this dirt bag pay.
I learned my lesson of not accepting checks from nobody.. please help guys! Anything is appreciated

Thanks!

My boyfriend will be staying at my apartment for the summer while he is back from school and he needs a copy of the house key.

Just wondering- how do people that have keys made, that say on them "do not duplicate", get copies of their keys??? Couldn't I just say that I own these keys?

Our local school in our small town has went bankrupt. They have proposed a 12 mill increase to save the school, but I really have no idea what a millage increase is other than some sort of tax.

If the school closes then our children will be bussed for a long way to a large town, which may require us to pay even more taxes than what has been proposed to save our own school.

Need some help figuring this one out.

What I would like to know is if an asset is booked at its historical cost, and it's depreciated using the life of the asset, (the historical cost, and projected salvage value at the end of useful life), then why is the "net book value" of property, plant, and equipment not equal to current fair market value?

How much money should a company budget for computer training. We're a small office with six people, but whenever we have turnover, new people don't understand how to enter data into our software system. I know others have this problem, too. Should we have a budget? How much should it be? Should it be a percent or based on the number of employees? Please help.

I'm a musician who plays for a church, and I filled out a w-9 form.
Gross pay should be 400/mo ($100 for each sunday)

It's my first paycheck from them and it reads $369.23

All I did was fill out a w-9 form...I thought w-9s don't tax you?
