that higher levels of income tax decrease GDP and that while holding government
expenditures constant, increased income taxes reduce consumption expenditures, and
that government surpluses increase national savings so the government doesn't have to
borrow your savings to operate and, therefore, that higher taxes contribute to economic
growth. Are higher taxes a short-run versus long-run issue? Explain.

However after the court case and after the landlord recieved the papers from the court to proceed with the eviction, he decides to re-enstate the month to month lease. Now the problem is that I wrote the landlord a check and it bounced the first time but 2 days after that my bank runs the check again and it clears but the landlord claims he didn't receive the money and I offered to show him documentation in regards to the check clearing but he still insists that I pay him again or he's going to evict me and I refuse to pay him twice....What are my legal rights in this situation?

I am going to transfer to a university for the fall, and want to quit my pizza delivery job, and sell my car and just ride my bike a couple of miles to get to school. I need to lose weight, and it will be tight not working, but I will have more time on my hands for school and activities and since gas is so high why even bother? Well I will be able to pay my few bills (rent, food and phone bill) with grants, loans and the little savings that I have. Whar do you guys think? Have you done this kind of thing before? The grocery store is accross the street, and any student can ride the bus for free so you can get to the mall etc. Bills would be approx 700/mo

All so that managemnt can get a bigger bonus when they give it to everyone? If your employer was doing this ,would'nt you be thinking of an way to get out of that enviroment?Or start looking for a better job?
Not to mention the A/C turns the place into muggy place instead of keeping employers and customers cool while shopping or working.

I am looking into buying a condo in the next 3-6 months. I have two credit cards open currently (both with 0 balance- one 3 years old and one 2 years old) and wanted to open a travel rewards card since I will be traveling internationally next summer and wanted help with the flight. I've been in a lease over 1 year. I signed the lease for that year. But when It came time to re-up the lease, I didn't sign a new one. The price of rent was even changed, and we had to pay for cable, which we didn't have to before, now under these circumstances, wouldn't I not be obligated to stay, or give notice, because we have not signed a revised copy of the lease?

In the startup company I work for, my boss can't afford to pay me what he knows I deserve right now (but will hopefully be able to in less than a year) and wants me to hold off and wait. I told him that if I am not going to be compensated financially then at least I should have good benefits.

Besides for insurances and 401ks (which are out due to small company) what should I demand?

How many sick days?
How many vacation days?
How many legal holidays?

What other perks can I request to compensate for my hard work?

Here is the question I have:

I am recording two complete accounting cycles. For the one in 2004 it states at the end for the adjusting section, "Recorded $2,100 of accrued salaries at the end of 2004". Then, at the very beginning of 2005 it states "Paid $2,100 cash for the salaries accrued at the end of the previous year."

We have put this on a T chart, and I am not sure where each will go on each year and on each side of the Dr. and Cr.
