well yeah... maybe not professionally but on a personal level they will treat you like a temp. I worked in the teamsters union as a casual and the rest of the employees were all mean to me accept like one. i quit the job. I am more than sure the education field is a whole different world that probably smells better as well. but as far as bosses go i wouldnt worry too much about that... i would assume you have crudentials and will be respected as though you do.

I would hope the term NON gives you a clue :-) :-)

The following phrase (from a permanent staff worker to a Temp) sums it up ...

"You are paid to WORK here .... I am paid to BE here."

(I believe this is especialy true in ALL Government posts)
