Ok here goes, I worked for a company for close to a year. I was seeing some things that were questionable, the environment was really laid back. In my third month working there I noticed one of the employees being unethical such as taking credit/sales that weren't his, coming in late, missing work alot, even taking inappropriate pics during company hours. I decided to put my two weeks in but was asked to stay and work another position, ONLY because I thought there would be change, I worked for close to another two months there and decided to finally just leave without giving my two weeks because each day was getting worse. I have always been taught to work honestly and hard for my money so when I didn't see anything being done AFTER my concerns were raised I left. Sometimes I wonder if I did the right thing. It feels almost like a breakup is there a reason that my old coworkers don't Keep in touch with me? I honestly thought I was doing the right thing.

I am taking a year off from school before applying to law school and want to get some relevant experience.
I guess my question is what sort of position can someone with only a bachelor’s degree get within a large firm, and is it paid work as opposed to internships? I am hoping to move into a city to do this and would have to support my lifestyle.
Also any resources, websites, where I could look for a job would also be helpful. I found a few from an old question.

I live on a large farm right now. I recently got a free mobile home and I want to put it on one of the front lots I own. I recently had a site evaluation done for septic. What do I need to have the trailer on the property? Can I have it on there before the septic and well are ready, and just not live there?
Do I need placement or building permits? Both?
I'm trying to get this done asap so I can move out. Also, do I need to have this lot of land seperated from the rest of the farm? I live on about 50 acres.

A friend of mine and I were in a hardware store today and he picked up a granite vase. Upon picking it up at the neck, it crumbled and shattered on the ground. Furthermore, his hand got cut in the process. The owner charged my friend (20% off the sticker price) for the piece. We think that their may be a consumer law (in California at least) stating that the company can not charge the consumer accidental damage, but he paid anyways (with the intent of stopping payment on his credit card). Does anybody know the legality of this situation?

I would like to become financially wealthy. I'm currently 18, and am set to start college in the Fall. I'm looking for any advice (or critiques of the advice I've listed below) that anyone cares to give me. Thanks in advance!

Here are a few things I've been told to do in order to become wealthy:

1. Attend college
2. Spend less than you make
3. Don't go into debt (including the use of credit cards)
4. Invest in mutual funds and set up a Roth IRA
5. Never buy brand new cars; their worth depreciates as soon as you drive off the sales lot

The real reasons for leaving are chronic understaffing, boss with a hot head (prone to explosions of profanity), not to mention that they made a major change in health insurance plans a month after hiring me. Now...what is the best way to answer the "why are you leaving?" interview question, especially since it's only been seven months.

I rolled over an existing 401k into a traditional IRA. My current firm doesn't have a 401k or any other kind of plan. I'd like to contribute to my traditional IRA but I'm being told that I can't contribute to both a traditinal IRA and a Roth IRA at the same time unless the one is from the current employer.

My husband and I have several thousand dollars in credit card debt spread over 10 cards each that still has available balances. Is it better for us to leave it this way or to consolidate those balances so we have less credit cards even though those cards will then all be maxed out? I'm just wondering which is better from a credit reporting/ credit score perspective. Also taking an equity loan or line of credit isn't an option.
