I told a co-worker something I should not have. This co-worker in turn told someone else. I am now being confronted about it by my boss, and I denied it. What do I need to do now?

hi, I have a reasonable amount of money to spend but I do not have 2million pounds. I was wondering on a rough estimate how much it would cost to build a house around 2million pounds. I already have a large area of land so I have plenty of room. Thanks a lot.

This well known high tech company conducted my background check last Week and confirmed that they have recieved the processed background check which turned out to be clean.

I was also wondering:

a) If an approachment of an offer is now obvious?

b) If so, how long will it take the company to approach with an offer?

More Information:

a) I have had appromiately 12 technical interviews with different ppl from the company for an entrl level (NCG) position in this company.

b) They told me over the phone that were interested in "moving forward", but they didnt give it to me in writing. They recruiter however left me a voicemail saying so.

c) After the processed background check (completed on Thursday June 21-2007), they havnet contacted me since.

Please advise.

Hey guys right now I am absololutely furious I sent my laptop through canada post and they ******* destroyed it. Is there anything I can do I didn't put insurance on it.

Just moved into a rental Saturday, today is Monday. The lease is for 12months, is there any rescission law in California where I can get out. I heard there is like 5 or 7 days for any type of contract in California???

If you have elect to not pay all the interest on a credit card and are given a settment offer with the difference being over $600, does that count as income? Does it then have a negative effect on next years tax returns??

I'm thinking about buying a home in a bad neighborhood. I want to pay $12,000 for a 3 story in fair condition. I then plan on doing a lease option to someone. It does need a little fix up. I'm just wondering about the bad neighborhood if it will be a cash cow for me.

I know that I would have to pay taxes on any capital gains that are made by trading stocks in a Trad IRA, but was wondering how long a loss would carry over. For instance, would I be able to protect 10K of gains made this year from the tax man with 10K of losses that happened a few years ago? Are the gains/losses from trading in a traditional IRA a cummulative thing that works out once the IRA is withdrawn from?

I have found in the recent days of venturing out to buy furniture that there are a lot of guys who sell the same kinds of furniture as Rooms-to-go and roomstore and ashley furniture. They claim that they get this from the same distributors and I believe it to be true because the quality is the same. They also have catalogs of furniture which they use to order. Some of these guys don't even have a warehouse, they just use public storage.

My question is does anyone know how can I get started on becoming a furniture dealer? It seems to be a good business to be in. I need information on where to get the catalogs or get in touch with distributors etc.

Anybody else frustrated at work???

My boss thinks he knows it all, yet he doesn't even know my job role!!

I am wanting to start a small graphic design business in New Mexico with no employees, I have printed the forms for a TIN and a Business Licence on one of my forms I saw tat I need a Federal Tax number if I have employees but I am not so do I still need to do this step? I spoke with Payplan as I'm unable at this time to pay my debts..it's the interest that is the killer. I am scared one of the credit card companies will write to my employer or pass the debt off to a shark. Does anyone have experience of dealing with Payplan or a similar co, because i have to make a decision now. Payplan say not to wory, to send correspondence to them, and deal with letters / calls promptly. But I feel so scared. Has anyone been through this, coped, and survived? Appreciate your thoughts please.
