I live on a large farm right now. I recently got a free mobile home and I want to put it on one of the front lots I own. I recently had a site evaluation done for septic. What do I need to have the trailer on the property? Can I have it on there before the septic and well are ready, and just not live there?
Do I need placement or building permits? Both?
I'm trying to get this done asap so I can move out. Also, do I need to have this lot of land seperated from the rest of the farm? I live on about 50 acres.

Most mobile homes don't go on perm foundations, I'm not putting mine on one either. I'm gonna stay here until I can put a real house on the lot.

You should go to your county planning office and talk to the people. You may need to ask for a zoning change or get a building permit. If you talk to them before you start anything they will want to help you, if you disregard them they will make life a living heck. Tell them you want to do this entirely the right way so would appreciate any advise they can give you. Then if something goes wrong they might be more willing to help resolve the issues.
After you get a cement slab, electrical, water and septic you will probably need an occupancy permit and the country will probably require an electrical inspection.

you ought to start via making particular you are able to positioned a cellular domicile there - you are able to need a zoning variance of a few style (in some areas, cellular properties at the instant are not allowed, in others, one domicile consistent with lot, and so forth.). Assuming the lot is or would nicely be zoned to handle the cellular domicile, you next ought to be certain with the wellbeing branch in regards to the septic. In maximum jurisdictions, septic structures are unmarried shape, meaning you will ought to installation an completely new septic and drainage equipment (alongside with having the land perc'ed to work out if it could accommodate a 2nd septic).

I would suggest you go to city hall and ask them all states have different rules. Tell them the situation and they will guide you through the whole process, especially if you plan on putting this thing on a permanent foundation.
