You're unlikely to get into even a mediocre law school with a low GPA.

But say you did, and you graduate. You might find your first job pays as little as $12,000 a year, probably working for a small-town DA's office. Or you might set up a private practice, get very little business, lose your few contingency cases, and make nothing.

The hitch is that the McDonald's employee's potential has a low top range. If you turn out to be a decent lawyer, your top range is many times higher.

Great question.... There is no definative right or wrong answer though. In order to receive a wage or salary the lawyer will need to get hired somewhere and these spots are often very competitive. As well it is going to depend on the type of law that you practise. A lawyer can work for the government, a large firm, a non-profit, for a company in their legal dept., or in a community legal clinic etc. There is no real clear cut answer as to a minimum. In fact a lawyer can also become self-employed and could even lose money in business.

On thing is certain, your degrees are worth something; even if you are struggling right now. Police forces often accept individuals with a law degree. Many businesses will also respect your education and utilize your expertise indirectly.

Law is not incredibly lucrative right out of school; it should however provide you with a fairly decent standard of living and a foundation upon which you can build a successful career.

You may not get an offer at all. Passing the bar exam might not even happen for you. You may make $35,000 a year but might be better off as a paralegal than the worlds worst lawyer.

A lawyer can receive nothing if he or she has no clients. It all depends upon the type of law and the type of job. But it is better than flipping burgers.

Poor question dude!

It depends on, what country you are in, where you will practice law, what areas of law you will practice in and how hard you work.

To be blunt, if your work ethic is as poor as your question structuring, you won't earn much!
