The self-appointed dictators that are the FSA have introduced more bureaucracy and complications that are closing business', casuing unemployment and confusing the clients that they should be protecting. Do the government really know what the FSA are doing to the industry and does anyone want to petition against these wankers?

I am working at one place right now, where I do not have any problem. I tried for another job and I am offered good money and a position. They called me and give me an offer letter also. But, after giving lot of thoughts, talking to my friends, family members, relatives and office colleagues. I feel my present job is more suitable to me, mentally as well as physically & monitory also. So, how do I refuse a new job offer, by not harming my credibility and relations with them?

These days I've been doing intern in this research organization. Although the system is quite transparent, I still keep this question in mind. Is it better to maintain a personal relationship between you and your boss?
What do you guys think of this?

Hi, this question refers to rental agreements in Paris, France.

I know a little about what's asked by French estate agents when renting a property in France and I'm aware that as a general rule they ask the tenant to prove that they earn over 3 times the amount of the rental price. What I'd like to know is "would it be possible for me to combine my salary with that of my girlfriend in order to rent a better place than what is available to me at 1/3 of my salary?"

I want to know if the decision to rent a place to someone is governed by law in this respect or whether the "3 times more than the monthly rent" rule is just a guideline that can be adapted in accordance with the combined financial situation of the prospective tennants.

Any help would be much appreciated - bear in mind that this question is directed mainly at either French people or people with experience living there as an ex pat.

As a landlord who would I need to talk with all members there or only one person who acts on behalf of the rest of the tenents? Would it affect any possible eviction in the future if only one person is named on the agreement and the rest aren't? Do the bills/council tax have to be in one person's name?

I am situated in an office away from the main factory where I work. The building I work in has gents toilets only (4 cubicles, 4 urinals and an enclosed shower. There are 2 women who work in this buidling, and are made to walk to one of three toilets situated around the site (all of which make us leave the building).

The nearest being approx 300 yards away. (considering we have to go outside in all weather)

Does anyone know if there is a health and safety policy regarding this matter?

I have just had 2 job offers, both for IT recruitment. One is in a small company that has been going for 4 years now, and one is a well known established company. There are more benefits for the larger company, however, im still having a dilema, has anyone got any opinions on whether a smaller or larger firm is better in this industry?
