I've paid over 2k in Taxes. It's me and my two kids. But Oregon has their own taxes that are taken directly out of the paycheck.
I am filing head of household with my kids as dependants.
Anyone know how much that would be?

I wouldn't ask if I really didn't need it.

I am seriously short of money, I can just about afford £6 on food this week after paying off all my bills and rent.

Ok sure there are people worse off than me I admit, but if you can afford to spare me even a pound (or more) to my paypal account then it really would make a big difference to me right now.

My husband and I are in the early home-buying stages and are planning to go to a few open houses this weekend. This is the first time either of us have sought a house to purchase, and we're wondering what we should be looking for when we visit a home? Is it usually a realtor or the homeowner showing the home? Can we take photos of the house? Do we just walk in the home or should we be greeted? Thanks for any advice!

I need some advice please!:) I am quite good at sitting down and creating a budget, but following it is a different story....
I tend to "nickel and dime" myself right out of money!!!! If that makes any sense...
I just need some ideas on how to follow and stick to the budget. The only idea I heard years and years ago, was to use only cash and set the amount for each item (food, gas, etc) in different envelopes. That sounds great, but obviously, who wants to carry around that much cash!!!
I know that I waste cash every month that I could be using to pay off my credit card debt or save towards a small vacation!
To most people this type of thing come easily...but not for me:( TIA for the ideas!

I have a decent paying job, but I just got transfered to a different department. I sit on the internet all day, bored out of my mind. Only once and a while do they have me do anything. I just feel so worthless, like I should be doing something. Should I just stick with this job, I am afraid to quit because I don't think I will be able to find anything that will pay as well and it is hard to apply for jobs because I am working when the HR is usually in the office, so it will be hard for them to contact me. I am just so bored and feel worthless. Please help.

I have an employee who has really been acting bizarre. She is my daughter's CNA (certified nursing assistant) sitter. Saturday she shows up 1-1/2 hours late and when I ask her what happened, she says she got lost with time in the grocery store. WTF?
Yesterday she couldn't come in earlier than usual b/c of daughter's dentist appointments. I understood and said to come in when she could. 3pm came - no show. No phone call, nothing. I'm on bedrest b/c of high blood pressure with pregnancy in the final weeks and I really have been stressing out. My blood pressure is horrible. I explained to her on Saturday that I need for her to be here and to call if something happens or make other arrangements to be here for me. I called the nursing co that I hired her through. They talked to her this am and she said she got a boil on her face after child appt, swoll up and the doc gave her pain meds which knocked her out. She told her sister to call me but sis never did. I don't believe it
