how I am gonna be charged for those?

My husband is a wonderful man & an excellent father. He worked in an industry that unless you own your own business or take a desk job requires changing locations every few years.

A yr. ago he left the industry to take a factory job that is 40 hrs/wk & only 5 days/wk as opposed to 6 like before. There are benefits we get now like health ins, 401K, & bonuses that his previous jobs never had. Plus his weekends home. Which is why he took the job in the 1st place. He wanted to be home more.

Now he's been offered an exucitive position in his old industry. they guarantee no more than 50 hrs/wk at a salary he'd most likely hit next year if he stayed put at the factory. He's leaning towards taking it but wants my opinion.

Honestly I don't like it. He's home more now, he's happy & no longer stressed out when he gets home. I don't want to keep him from his dream but I'm tired of always starting over from scratch & the constant uncertainity.

What do I tell him?

I am EU citizen, now living and working in the US on H1 visa.
I am planning to buy a condo apartment in the US taking a mortgage.
If in a couple of years I might move back to Europe and I might decide to rent the apartment.
This can be the scenario in two years:
My revenues in the US will be only the rent ($20,000 per year) and financial revenues from CD and savings accounts ($5,000 per year). Total $25,000
My property taxes will be $3600 per year, my mortgage interests will be $12,000 per year and I will have additional $3,300 manteinance costs per year.
I am EU citizen and I will live and work and in Europe at that time.
How much taxes will I have to pay per year in the US?

They called me and say that I am responsible of this debt, they say that the signature in their file signature it is mine and I bought it.. This is Wrong, I don't know what they talking about.
They have threatened me that they will do something against me.
Can they do SOMething to my credit or hurt my credit only with my name??? They only have my name. I am in Socal California.
What should I do? What are my rights??

They are taking every penny I have and then some;overdrawing my account and leaving me with nothing, leaving me to live in the red. I know I shouldn't have gotten them in the first place, but what can I do now? I need something to live on, money to pay my rent, but they are taking it all. They take all my money, all my direct deposit, every week and this is just to pay their crazy high interest rates, this doesn't go to actually paying off the loan. I tried talking to them too (it's multiple companies I borrowed from) but they mainly just pretend to help you by switching due dates around which doesn't really help. Need help, need money to live on!

I understand there is a new law that will allow you to transfer a 401k to a Roth IRA in 2008. Can you also transfer a 403b? Are there any tax consequences the year you make the transfer?

he said he would sell his inheritance abroad to pay me back,he tried to repartriate the money but the money got stuck because the bank was being investigated for fraud. This went on until he was advised by another friend of mine to go to the banks headquaters in London,to meet with one of their directors. They investigated and kept asking him to come today and come tomorrow, all to noavail. Then he went to the C.A.B,then the lawyers at the cab took his bank to court, the court ruled in his favour last summer, but they still did not pay out,i still had to carry on servicing this debt in the meantime. Then, came the twist,my friend was under investigation by scotland yard, something to do with fraud that someone else committed, because his name was mentioned in the statement another perpetrator had made. Then he was interogated and cleared, but still had to go to the UnitedStates for a final interrogation, was cleared, and they still have not paid out.His bank has to wait for their say so.I need help!

Dividend harvesting involves buying a stock shortly before the ex-dividend date, then selling after holding for a short period afterwards. Does anyone have any experience with investing in this manner?

I am a new investor, looking to invest roughly $500 a month, every month, for at least 10 years. I want to buy Vanguard index funds. Should I go ahead and open an individual account with Vanguard? The minimum initial investment is $3,000...does that mean I must initially "invest" the $3,000 or can I simply fund the account with $3,000?

Thank you for your help.

I am charge of our small office while our manager is on vacation. One employee went for her one hour lunch break, and said that she would be a few minutes late because she had an appointment. She said she might be 15min over. I told her no problem.
She left and didn't come back for 2 and a half hours!!! I am not happy at all. Do I tell the manager because I am supposed to be responsible here, or is that tattling? She blamed it on traffic, but that is a little excessive. It was an appointment to look at an apartment.

I'm transfering 3 Credit Cards to just one with 0% for 6 months.

After talking to a useless customer service rep, I have yet to figure out how to calulate my new monthly payments before I transfer.

I was always told to divide the balance by 48 months.

Anyone know for sure?
