Yep, it's the symbol for the Euro.
I live in Germany with the military and we have been getting jacked in the exchange rate for over a year. We hover between 84 and 89 cents (where one dollar buys that many Euro cents).

it means :"F... the stupid dollar which thinks it is still an international currency and the ignorant Americans who know nothing about me!!"
It is the Euro that keeps climbing against the dollar. Question : Could you remember me what means the sign " $" already ?

This is a symbol for Euro, the currency of european union. ( a group of european country). currently one euro is worth 1.32 US dollors.(i.e 100 Euros = 132 USD)
