Kenmore is the house brand for Sears. Maytag or Hotpoint or anyone may make it to Sears specs. and put Kenmore on it for sale by Sears only. Sometimes Sears Specs are higher than the manufacturer but they order so many it is worth their trouble.
Why is this on the Real Estate section?

Kenmore is the name of Sears store brand. Sears is a retailer and makes nothing. I believe it is whirlpool who is the actual manufacturer
