I am a Rad Tech and a life-long friend is an RN. Some of the considerations:

Both graduate practitioners from hospital-based, associate degree or baccalaureate degree programs. Classes and clinical experience are not easy. Nurses, in general, are in greater demand. RTs most in demand have specialized in MRI, CT and mammography. In my experience nurses have a slight edge in wage level. You can work an entire lifetime in both. Moving into management, clinical specialties or commercial jobs are all available.

The RT career is more technical, nursing is more personal. Nursing tends to be more blood and guts. If you cannot stand body fluids or are paranoid about getting exposed to all manner of physical or mental illness do not work in healthcare. Good luck in whatever career you deside.

Go for the radiologic technician. Many nurses get diseases from the patients that they work with and it is far more dangerous .....just my opinion. LIsten to your heart sweety.
