We had filed chapter 13 last October. The payments were so high we just couldn't make the payments. The bankruptcy courts dismissed our case for non-payments. Are we eligible to file for chapter 7? Will we lose our home? We live in Ohio if that makes any difference at all. What should we expect to happen?

I've noticed when I use a gift card, it always seems like a faster transaction with the cashier rather than paying in cash (i.e. waiting for your change), using a credit/debit card (i.e. waiting for approval, still pretty fast) or witing a check (i.e. Can I see some I.D.?)

I am an Non-Resident-Indian living in gulf country. I wanted to take a Life insurance Policy from LIC. I came to know there is something called LIC international, which is wholly owned subsidiary of LIC India, operating in Gulf countries. Where should i take an insurance policy from ... LIC International or LIC India? The fact is LIC International accepts only USD and returns in USD and LIC India in INR.

- My co-signer has good credit. A 10+ year record, probably flawless.
- Carries a mortgage.
- No other car or child support or any other recurring debt.

What do you guys think? My mother is afraid to co-sign for me because she is not sure if she will be able to get another car in 2-3 months for the family in case we need it, is this a necessary worry?

If a property is purchased from an investor, and a contract drawn up by the investor is signed by all parties, and all payments have been made per contract agreement, with copies made and kept of each check sent to investor, but never actually closed at a title office, or filed, does this buyer still have a completley legal binding agreement, that could stand up in court, in the event the investor should pass away, or there should be any conflicks.Thank you !

Obviously, at some point in an interview, you should ask what kind of salary/hourly wage you will be making in this job. But when is the appropriate time to do so? Asking too early may make you seem greedy or overanxious, while asking too late might mean the person has already offered you the job and you then say "oh wait, how much am I going to get paid?".

Also, how do multiple interviews play into this? Some companies may have three or even four interviews with you before you are hired, which interveiw would you ask about salary?
