im 17 and ive had about 3 interviews already. no one has called me back. iv'e applied almost everywhere, and they say theyre hiring but then when i turn in my application, they say o we're not hiring yet. any tips on how to actually get a god damn job?

read a book on interviewing. Maybe you need some tips on interviewing. Even for entry level jobs, they want you to answer certain questions the right way.
I've read three or four books on interviewing and im sure it helped me get a job.

Dont be so worry of not able to get a job, go for the internet business which requires less of your time and the one that will not make you feel headache with web designing, or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet based company which offer you the opportunity and at the same time giving you the convenience to start the business. Third, choose the business, which does not require big money to start it.

Honestly, I tried so many opportunities offered through the internet and this is the only one that really works. Another one advantage of being in the internet business is you can get rid from the Income Tax.

Keep trying, it's a long process. I sent 'infinite' numbers of cover letters, and 2 or 3 called me for interview. Meanwhile it's a good idea to do some volunteer. Also, get some post secondary education can be helpful too.

Keep applying and maybe call in favors and connections. Do you know someone who could recommend you. Can your parents pull some strings. I know you want to get a job on your own merits but sometimes it is a matter of who you know.
