How does bank earn profits/money if they actually give us money in interest if we have a balance with them?

BTW, is it free to make an account?

im not talkin about loans on a house or condo, just loans on stuff other than land/houses/condos. (My partner and I own a condo and are making more than the required minimum payments on our mortgage) Are there any good websites or spreadsheet templates on the net that itemise your goal for you on an annual basis? I want to get rid of my credit card debt of $12k and save enough money to start a small business (my partner doesn't know about either of these otherwise he would explose). I would still work in my crappy job so my expenses are covered and to have an income stream...just that I want to pay off my credit card debt without my partner knowing and then start a small business and tell him when the business is off the ground. So I need the spreadsheet for both these things.

I have a friend who is self-employed as a hairdresser. She needs surgery on her shoulder. She has no hospital insurance. She has talked to medicaid and vocational rehab people in our town. And they say no services are offered to people of her problems. They tell her she's to young for medicaid, no children in the home, etc. There has to be some help from the state of North Carolina for people in this kind of situation.

Okay, so this new girl that started a few months ago at another store comes to mine and barks orders at me. It is really getting to me because she only got a higher position than I because she slept with the boss at the other store. Not only that, but that man is MARRIED and I have NO RESPECT for her.

Now, I have been there a while, know my job, and don't apply for higher positions because I'm in school. I can't stand to have this obnoxious, bossy, offensive girl tell ME how to do MY job. She isn't my boss and can't fire me, so what I want to know is how I should act when she gets all bossy on me.

I try my hardest to be nice to everyone. I'm generous, kind, and I hate telling people that they're mean. What should I say? What shoud I do?

How much money would you have to win in the lottery (after taxes are taken out, of course) in order for you to quit your job with no intention of ever working again for the rest of your life? What would you do to make sure that you would not ever have to work again?

In my previous company, they did match it and set a cap limit of 12%. But now, there is no match and employees are allowed to deduct between 1 to 75% of bi-weekly salary. Is it worth it in long run to invest, or is it possible you can lose all this money and better off just saving it yourself?

A wheel chair bound unit owner has been renting his units out. He purchased the units while in a wheelchair over 3 years ago. The elevator is on the lobby level which is built over the parking lot. You must climb 13 stairs to get to the elevator. He demands that volunteer residents carry him up and down the stairs so he can visit and inspect his rental units on the 15th floor. Otherwise, he'll sue the condo assn. under the ADA for an elevator chair on the banister to travel the stairs. Since he has incorporated ownership of the rental units, he used to hire people to carry him for the stairs. He has apparently stopped that practice.

I am filling out an application for a job with a global company, and have an interview scheduled for next week. I spoke to the recruiter on two occasions where desired compensation was brought up. She estimated that the pay would be in the low 40s I previously worked for a small company and was making $48,000 plus $1000 bonus quarterly (when my boss was feeling generous). She mentioned that usually, one of the requirements for the position would be at least one year experience doing a very similar thing. I think she was lowballing me, but whatever....

I know I can contribute way more to this position than someone with one year experience doing it, but I am saving that discussion for the interview. The pay she described is fine for me as a starting point, really, b/c of the benefits and annual bonus.

Should I put "negligible" on the application or an actual amount?

My question is, should I put "negligible" on the application?

I'm doing a homework assignment and trying to research vehicle loan payments. But one of the criteria that the bank uses is what is called a "loan to value" some say 100% others say 90%. What does the 90% on a loan to value mean?
