What if you can't forget the failures and they will always be on the back of your mind and so sometimes they can come in cause you not to be able to do well in your new job?

Because there is a gap between getting fired from all your jobs and being successful in your jobs. How do you get over that gap and start doing well in your job and what if you still have those failures in the back of your mind... ?

You have to change your attitude because you can always redeem yourself. You can be responsible etc. like you have in the past.

Try working for a temporary agency for a while and do your best to improve on your work ethic and professionalism. Reward yourself in some way along the way. You might end up getting a permanent position and can continue to excel from there.

Remember, everyone has some regret about past failures.

The person needs to take an honest look at WHY they were fired from all four jobs, and what they need to change to keep it from happening again. Getting fired from one or even two jobs doesn't necessarily say the person was doing anything wrong, but getting fired from four in a row is either a terrible run of luck, or more likely something that the person needs to change. If he/she goes into another job and does the same things, he/she will probably not be successful. Doesn't mean things can't change - but sounds like there's something that the PERSON needs to change about themselves and how they approach work.

it would depend what you got fired for. If it was because of you screwing up you need to fix yourself before you will be successful. It it was because of corporate issues like down sizing then you should not feel bad there was nothing you could do.

If they have been fired from all the jobs they had before, it doesn't sound like they *should* have any self confidence. They don't sound like a good worker.

as an employer, that would be a red flag. Cant hold down a job, fired is bad, laid off is another thing, or let go bc work is slow or something.
