My experience with TD Ameritrade has been good. Right now they offer a few extra offers for opening an account (see link). Even without the offers, the $9.99 per trade and no minimum balance is a good offer for even the beginning investor. They do not offer the best rates for cash in the account however.

Log onto www.tdameritrade.com and click open a new acct. The process is fairly easy to complete in under 10 minutes. You can then fund the acct by either mailing in a check, going by a branch, or setting up an electronic transfer from your bank acct.

After they receive your initial deposit you'll be all set to start trading!!

You may want to consider viewing some of these links: http://search.yahoo.com/search?search=TD+Ameritrade&ei=UTF-8&fr=ks-ques&ico-yahoo-search-value=http%3A%2F%2Frds.yahoo.com%2F_ylt%3DAmbCIMiy3vuBq9sAYDPw86IezKIX%2FSIG%3D111gjvvgj%2F*-http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.yahoo.com%2Fsearch&ico-wikipedia-search-value=http%3A%2F%2Frds.yahoo.com%2F_ylt%3DArsNIp0fv2R_X1f7YB8Gb.YezKIX%2FSIG%3D11ia1qo58%2F**http%253a%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FSpecial%253aSearch&p=TD+Ameritrade

I did a search and these were the links that populated afterwards.

Also try contacting the customer service department if you have questions how to use their site or services.

Hope this helps.

God Bless....
