Well Im actually looking to rent a house or townhouse. I want to rent in the San Fernando Valley area. Specifically:

Craig's list. I've used all the commercial ones, but Craig's list has been much more helpful.

www.rent.com and www.apartments.com have both helped me when I moved from Pennsylvania to Florida!! They also offer a $100 certificate for moving into a property listed on their site which they actually followed up with and mailed me a check for! Hope this helps some :-)
