Okay, so this new girl that started a few months ago at another store comes to mine and barks orders at me. It is really getting to me because she only got a higher position than I because she slept with the boss at the other store. Not only that, but that man is MARRIED and I have NO RESPECT for her.
Now, I have been there a while, know my job, and don't apply for higher positions because I'm in school. I can't stand to have this obnoxious, bossy, offensive girl tell ME how to do MY job. She isn't my boss and can't fire me, so what I want to know is how I should act when she gets all bossy on me.
I try my hardest to be nice to everyone. I'm generous, kind, and I hate telling people that they're mean. What should I say? What shoud I do?

You either need to suck it up and take it or you need to stand up for yourself. You don't have to be mean to stand up for yourself. If this girl isn't your boss and can't fire you, don't be afraid to set her straight. When she "gets all bossy"on you, just tell her that you know how to do your job and you don't need her direction so but out. All you need to do is to be direct with her. She bosses you because you let her. If she raises you on that, raise her back, don't be afraid. No need to resort to personal insult, just don't take any crap. By the way, it's unhealthy to hate. Live with love in your heart and you will be much happier as a result. Good Luck!

Show some guts. Take her off to the side and nicely tell her what you know and if she thinks "Mrs. boss" should get a letter or email or something of that sort because don't you think she deserves to know and wouldn't you want to know? That is unless she leaves you alone.
Be nice but straight forward, honest and matter of fact. You have great leverage for promotion if you use it right.

Hi my name is Eunice Saunders and it sounds like you need to look for another job! If she is really sleeping with the boss than you have a no win situation and it would be better for you to get out while the getting is good....better not to burn any bridges as it could have a bad effect on your emploability in the future. Good Luck! Eunice

If she's the kind person who loves the reaction she gets from acting that way (as most of them do) then your best bet would be to act cool about whatever she does. The more you act like her little tantrums are nothing, the better things will be for you. She's looking to intimidate you, and if everything you do (from your speech, to your body language, to your overall demeanor) denies that she is making any impression whatsoever, she will lose every ounce of her power.

You people are too nice, if it were me I slap the sIut out of her, and hope she burns in hell
but this is reality so, you should act EXACTLY like the girl when she or orders you around. She will eventually know what your trying to do, or tell her how you feel in a rude way

In what ways is she being mean to you? or picking on you?
If she is telling you to do "this and that", and if they are part of your job (of what you are paid for). Then you will have to do it.
I understand you are angry. If you want to keep your job then it's not a good idea to be mean to her. You don't want her to give you a hard time, right?

When you get to a certian age you have to be able to take a job and know that there are going to be things you hate and things you love about it...it's part of growing up!

Can you talk to HR about it? If not, you may have to stand up to her and tell her that you know how to do your job and you don't appreciate being told what to do.

Just be the bigger person and ignore her. Continue to do your work, your way and pay her no attention. If she is not your boss, you don't have to listen to her.

just act like you cant hear her. Look at her when she is talking and turn your head to the side like your thinking about something. then do all kinds of things wrong and tell everyone that she told you to do it that way and tell everyone else thats somebody there that you think she is out to get you. If that don't work, just fart on her head.
