Tattoos - November 2007

Do they ask for I.D when they think you are under age?
Or do they ask for I.D every time you get something done?
For example: A 15 year old goes to get her tongue pierced
but she can pass for an 18 to 20 year old.. would they take her just
as how old she looks or do they just I.D every person?

Hello guys, Im ready to get my first couple of tattoos but need sum input. Do any of you guys know a really good spot that does awesome work.

Please dont say Jade Dragon because that place sucks. I've gotten nothin but negative horror stories from friends and people I know who have gotten tattoos there.

Okay, I'm 15 and my mom is giving me consent when i'm 16 to get a tattoo. My birthday is in January, and I've been thinking of getting it for like, 4-5 months. I've decided on what i want, I just don't know exactly were on my back to get it. I'm getting a memorial tattoo for my grandfahter who died 2 years ago. I called him Poppy, so I getting a poppy flower on my back, i want it to be small, but i dont want it to look like crap in 5 years. Its gonna be really red. I just want some ideas of were to put it, i was thinking on my shoulder blade. Also, does anyone have any ideas on how to make it special, i was thinking of putting a drop of water dripping off the stem, like my tears. thanks in advance. and please, no preaching on my age, i'm really mature and it's what i want to do.

about three months ago I got this tatoo. It's big, I know. I still need to get it colored eventually when I get enough money. When I first got it, I loved it, now I'm unsure, what do you think?

i had posted one a couple hours ago, but idk how to add to it. so i said i want a tattoo on my upper arm about medium size. i wanted a rose, but the colors and meanings don't go with the reason i want it. they all stand for like joy and happiness and romantic love. i want a tattoo which stands for my mother and i have no idea what to get. i don't want to get just her name, but a symbol of her love for me. please help me out! and please don't write things such as "just don't get one" ... your wasting my time and yours and it's annoying. regardless, i'm still going to do what i want!

I recently got my self a aquarius tattoo on my wrist and i tottaly love it but after reading some questions on here some ppl are tottaly against the whole zodiac thing. It does mean alot to me and like i said i love it. Whats ur opion?

I was at the bar the other night, & some guy gave me a big lecture-He told me by the looks of my tattoos, I'm a big druggie, & have been to prison, (But I've never been there or jail) then he goes, "I'd be accepted if thrown in prison", then he's saying I'm lucky to be alive cause some would torture me/kill me cause of my tattoos!-anyways what would you say? (I told him straight out, "I knew clean-cut-tattoo free druggies that looked like "missionaries"! (you can't judge a book by it's cover)

So, I wanted to be cool, so I went to the store and looked around for some food item that I thought would be a "cool" item. I was over by the meat aisle, and I saw it! Sirloin steak. So I bought the steak, and removed the price tag (with barcode) to my local tattoo parlor and told them I wanted the barcode for sirloin steak tattoo'd on my neck. Well, they did it. And after it was done, I went strutting around like a rooster, showing off my tattoo. Well, sometime later on, I went to Safeway, and I thought it would be funny to have the checkout lady scan my tattoo. She scanned it and it is the barcode for Earl Grey Tea. Dangit! I wanted to swing my stuff, and wear a black leather jacket, now I have strange cravings for crumpets and yesterday I caught myself saying "tut tut" for goodness sakes. Should I get this tattoo removed or just give in and become a mac wearing , tea drinking , crumpet eating , driving on the wrong side of the road kind of guy?

I am getting a tattoo with my Mom on Friday and we are looking for snowflake tattoo's. We have decided on the snowflake for very personal reasons but we would like some examples. i have a tattoo removal idea from ebay and it uses glycolic acid, it is suposed to burn the layers off over months until the tattoo is gone, has anyone tried it? what should happen, i am 1 week into doing it and just wanted to know if anyone else has tried it, its taking a layer off but in different stages so it looks a bit holey, and is a bit sore. any people tried this method?

i have a tattoo that i need to get fixed.its a cross w/ my dads face in the middle and a ribbon in front of it w/ his name in it...i was thinking of putting somewhere in the tattoo the words/ song title "dont cry" by guns and roses one of my fave bands and songs.and my dad used to listen to them as well.would that be dumb???my dad was shot a few years back and passed away so i want to really make this tat something special...what do you think yay or nay???
