Tattoos - November 2007

I've had this tattoo for seven years and it itches from time to time. And it feels like tiny bumps are underneath it. Could I be allergic to the ink? After this long? Any advice?

I've been trying to do a dragon on my arm with a needle (sterilised) and some ink. I'm not as good an artist as I thought though. How can I erase bits and redo them?

So I take my little brother into a local tattoo shop to get his first for his 18th birthday (I myself own over 20 lmao). And this artist guy is totally "dissing" every idea my bro has, he makes all the questions he ask sound stupid, like were wasting his time or we should be honored to be in his prescence. If i wanted to be ignorant I could of just punched him and called it a day "BUT" I was more interested with the behavior he was displaying. Honestly do alot of tattoo artist or tattooed individuals look down on newbies? I thought maybe he was irrated thinking maybe my brother was trying to be trendy by getting a tattooo? let me know what you think ? not mad lol just looking for opinions

Hello everyone! I have become interested in cheek piercings in the past few months, and In the last few weeks I have decided to get them myself!
I have researched this piercing throughly. Considering I pierce myself I wanted to know FOR SURE what I was getting myself into.

Does anyone have any advice as to whether I should take the risk, For the BEAUTIFUL mod. Or do without?

i am not pregnant but i want to get a rather large tattoo on the side of my torso that goes from my hip bone to just by my breast. I do plan on having a baby someday. How will pregnancy affect the tat? Since it's not on my stomach will it still strech? if it does, how will it look after i lose some baby weight?

I wanna get a tattoo of a turtle on the inside of my wrist with vines going across it , or maybe a turtle on one side of my hip
Am turning 16 and my dad said he would take me to get one whenever am ready, but I dont do good with pain, I got my ears pierced for the 2nd time 4 months ago and i was wondering if the pain of getting a tat is like getting your ears pierced for a long time(pain wise).
Or if not could someone tell me where you get less pain. lol.

I am 18 and thinking of getting a tattoo. I want it to be something that is important to me and symbolizes something, but still is cool looking. I am considering the Dave Matthews Band Symbol the firedancer. Hi people..

Ive got a skull on my right arm.. about 5 cms wide and about 9cms tall. About 11 yrs old / black / faded a bit now.

I want to add to it, Either tribal design around the outside or flames, vines, etc.. coming out of it. (around the tat)

MY QUESTION IS ...

1. Will it look that same as my original tat ? (give it a year or so) or will it look like an add-on?

2. And just for kicks (do you think I should do this?)

I want to go to Miami Ink for my B-Day and get a tattoo. Actually it is not even half sleeve. It would come made to the middle of my bicep. It will go all around my arm and is very detailed. How much would you say it would cost. I only have one other tattoo so I am not sure how much the pricing would be.

I had a tattoo done on my right shoulder 2 weeks ago and it's healed perfectly, I want to get another tattoo on my right wrist ( I know exactly what I want) and wondered how soon is too soon to get another tattoo? The tattoo studio where I'd be going has a waiting list of 5/6 weeks anyway, so can I book it now or wait a bit longer?

I have a couple tattoos on my body, that are pretty much hidden in a business setting. They are on my sides. I want more tattoos in more visible places, but right now I have a job not a career, and if anything were to happen I just don't want to take any chances on having to get another job.

How did you decide to get visible tattoos? What was the determing factor for you to just go ahead and do it?

My bf is a tattoo artist, and he thinks if I want tattoos I should get them, and not be held back by anything. I think we just view things differently.

im thinking about getting a tattoo next time i go home for the vacation which is in new york city but i'll only be there for 3 days and i wanted to get a nice tatto on the back of my shoulder on the right side while in the city but im not sure whether or not tatto shops will be open thanksgivin which is the day that i plan to do it.im not getting it for any particular reason like the holiday or anything its just that i have no other time to because ill only be there a couple days so i wanna do it on my vacation time.





i just want to know if anybody out there know of any GOOD tattoo shops in new york city only, that are open during holidays cause that is like the only time i get to go home from school is on holidays and summer and spring breaks. if u know of any place please let me know of the address and name. .
