I am 18 and thinking of getting a tattoo. I want it to be something that is important to me and symbolizes something, but still is cool looking. I am considering the Dave Matthews Band Symbol the firedancer. This, to me, symbolizes freedom and being care free, and i am fortunately in that state of mind currently in my life. the only problem really for me is that the design is of a womanish figure. and im afraid it might be a bit too feminine. http://www.dmbfan.com/news/pictures/standup_cover.jpg that is a link to a picture of the firedancer. let me know what you guys think

eeh, my husband likes the firedancer too but i would never get it as a tattoo, for me it's just not detailed enough or artistic enough to make it worth having it as a tattoo.
BUT if you like it and you feel that you'll love it for the longterm then get it. just make sure that you get a talented artist, not all artists are talented or even good.

Maybe lyrics from Crush like "And right here I'm dancing at the floor" I believe it could be lovely cool since it is going with the Firedancer and it is considered one of my favourite songs by means of them. Hope that is helping
