In general, I would recommend you wait a few years. You might still be growing height-wise, and there is an even stronger possibility that your body type-width will change in the next few years.

If you really want to get one now, though, you should get a small one, in an area that's not likely to change that much. Your shoulder (above the main muscle area), hip area, or butt are the best places to go for at your age. They shouldn't change too much, even if you grow or broaden a bit more.

as hypocritical as it would be, i think u should wait until ur 18..well maybe not 18...well let me just say this, if you want to get ANY tattoo...I would strongly recommend waiting at least a year before getting it. chances are, if after a year you still want it, then you'll probably be okay with it for most of your life.

as far as growing... at 16 you probably won't grow a whole lot more, but that depends on your body. from 16 to 18 i got bit taller and gotten just generally bigger from muscle/body fat (which most people do, as you grow ur muscles usually do and ur metabolism slows down so you find out ya can't eat as much as ya used to lol)

so yea, if u want this tattoo, i would sit on it for a year, or if ur very impatient 6 months..just remember..if ur impatient about it it might come back to bite u in the *** some day...

Umm 18, honestly the stuff you think is kewl now night not be soo great in your eyes when you turn 18. I started getting tatted when I turned 20 by them I had time to know exactly what I wanted and had time to perfect the designs and placements. Its with you for life so make sure you love it dude

I think you should wait until you find a tattoo that will actually mean something to you.. maybe when you're an adult.. because that's something you definately don't want to regret.. especially when getting one removed hurts 10 times more than getting it in the first place..

Well I waited till I was 18 to get one. But if you are totally set on getting on now I would suggest starting with something small, just get a little tattoo someplace that can be covered up if necessary to see if you like it.

I think you should wait until you're 18.

I also think you should retake your latest English class.

And I would LOVE to know where in the Bible it says you can't have a tattoo.

How are you gonna get one when you gotta be 18 to get them, are your parents gonna sign for it? And to answer your question. I dont think your gonna grow much more, so it shouldnt matter if you wait or not.

get a tattoo on your lower back with an arrow pointing down to your butt that says "poop chute"

:-) Just kidding

Get something small and discrete, you never know how you'll feel about it later on.

oh, get a tattoo of periodic table, so the person sitting at your back will do well in his chemistry exams.
