i used to be a manager at blockbuster and visible tattoos and piercings were not allowed. i had to take out all of my facial piercings and there were a couple of guys who had tattoos that they had to wear a bandage over if it were to show while in uniform. so if it's visible on your neck you'll have to cover it with something like gauze. they're also not a fan of crazy hair colors. i had yellow and purple hair, the general manager didn't care but the corporate people did, i had to make it "normal".
if it is a franchise and not a corporate store they may be more flexible about it.
good luck! bbv was one of my favorite jobs.

They won't stop you from getting the job.
They're probably going to ask you to take out the nose ring, while you work. Please don't have it on at the interview but do mention it. As for your tattoo they can't turn you down simply because you have one, you do have to be okay w/ covering them up w/ jewlery or band-aids. In some places where they just don't care you can get away with it or they'll let you know when a DM or someone from corporate will be coming. My manager was hired years ago as a CSR letting them know that he had piercings and tattoos, as long as he covers them it's okay and it did help in his interview that he has an extremely professional behavior and can sell anything to anyone.

I'd say no, but that is kind of up to the manager. Now if you find out that that is why you didn't get the job, you could file a lawsuit for discrimination. But you should be fine. A lot of places like that do however tell their employees that they can only have a certain amount of piercings in while working, like i know at regal they said u can only have like 2 in each ear or sumin like that, you may also have to wear shirts with collars to hide the tattoo. rs nose ring should be fine though, just ask while your at the interveiw what their rules about piercings are.

Nose ring out for the interview "hands down", put it in after you get the job and if they say take it out , its not the end of the world. But honestly its fricken blockbuster not bank of america a small neck tattoo or hell a full sleeve shouldnt prevent you from getting the job if your qualified. They rent out soft porn for christ sake (ie: Pirates , by digital playground)!!!!

I've seen plenty of people working at blockbuster with many more tattoos and piercings than you have. I wouldn't worry about it.

Blockbuster isn't exactly the corporate mecca of employment. I've seen all types in there.

it all depends on where the piercing is. and im sure all you have to do is keep the tattoo covered while you're working.. it also depends on the management's choicee
