because im getting one and i really want to expect whats coming. i heard its soo painful. but eh. let me know. itgs gonna be really big and shaded and colored

It hurts so bad, I can honestly say it was the worst pain I've ever been in. It's completely worth it though, I would do it all over again.

I have over 45hr hours of tattoo work on my body and YES the chest hurts. I have two little sparrows (so far) and they were pretty rugged to have done.
Not bad enough to stop me from finishing the rest of my chest though..

It doesnt hurt bad untill they close to the nipple or right over a bone. it depends on much meat u have between your skin n bones too. I felt my chest work in my armpit even tho they wernt all that close to it, so different ppl have differnt nerve ending reactions.

here....take ur 2 fingers and pinch a random point of ur chest kinda hard..hurt? now imagine that a bit worse for a couple hours...think it would hurt? not to mention the middle of ur chest is pretty much just bone..so that will hurt more...

i don't know from personal experience but my husband has a large chest tattoo and he said it was extremely painful. he's pretty good with tattoo pain but he's not yet finished with the tattoo, it needs more to be added but he really doesn't want to have any more done to it.

my older brother got one with are family name across his chest and it didn't seem like it hurt that bad color always hurts more then just the out line or black ink but i guess it depends on how much pain you can handle

Yes it is somewhat painful.
it'll hurt by you arm pit, your nipple and sternum is the worst. I know your not tattooing those areas, but when tattooing- you'll feel it all up in there. So be ready
