I just got a tattoo a few hours ago and I just took the bandage off and washed it. One part of it that is white has spots of blood on it that wont come off easily. I know I'm supposed to get all the blood off but when I rubbed it with a little more pressure my skin started peeling, so I stoped. Should I try to get the rest off or just leave it for tonight and try agian tomorrow. Please only answer if your positive. Thanks!

Alright my girlfriend and I have asked around and no one has been able to really help us out. So if a full arm tattoo is called a sleeve, then what is it when someone has their entire leg done? So far the best name we've gotten what leggings. If you know please answer, and if you don't, what's your most clever name for it?

We are going to a formal New Year's Eve gala this year - so much fun!! I can't wait, except that I am running into a problem with my dress. Most formal cocktail or ball gowns are going to be strapless, and I have a fairly large tattoo on one upper arm, and a smaller one on the other. They aren't tacky, I just don't think it would be appropriate to have them show. I tried Dermablend once, but the effect was less than satisfactory. Any suggestions?

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo, but I'm not, sure. I want one but, I know its gonna hurt really, really, bad. Should I get one or not?

By the way I'm 20.

And I also want to get my nose peirced, but i am afraid that if I take it out I'll have a scar on my nose. Should I get that peirced?

My husband and I want to get tattoos together. I will NOT do names (i'm no fool) but I want something that goes together and is unique. I thought of Peanut butter and Jelly but hes not liking that idea. He has three already, one a dragon and a jester and I have a butterfly on the back of my neck. Anyone have any matching tattoo ideas? Or any good websites?

This is my tattoo i got for my birthday last year http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa267/RAZORS3DG3/voodootattoo.jpg , i never got it coloured because i got pregnant. Now i've had my baby i really want to complete it but i don't know what to get, everytime i had said a colour my tattooists told me to not get red green yellow or orange, wether thats too common or his personal preference i dont know :| so now i dont know what i want! i was looking through some questions about weather or not guys find peircings and tattoo's on women attractive, and it made me kind of mad when i read the answers. just about every guy said somthing implying that tattoos are only hot on guys and if a girl get's it, it's probably for attention. this makes me want to find one of these stupid guys and punch em' in the face. i envy girls with the guts to get tons of tattoos and pericings. i think they're beautiful. and the few that i do have, i didn't get to impress any dumb man. i get them because they are beautiful, a way of expressing myself and because i love art and what could be more appealing to an artist than becoming a peice of walking art. is it only conservative main stream males who feel this way, how about more alternative looking guys, do you think female body mods are gross?

I have been thinking a long time about getting a tattoo. I know exactly what and where I want it (a small cross on my wrist), my parents are actually okay with it, but I have a problem... I am only 17, and I live in California. Which states can you get a tattoo at 16 with your parents? By the way, if you are going to lecture me about how I shouldn't get a tattoo, then don't even bother answering... I went to a tattoo shop and looked through the tattoo books...i found an artist i liked that did really good jobs(clean lines, good designs). i went to the person whose name was on the book(person A), they designed my tattoo and everything..they did a beautiful design perfect drawing and everything, but i asked them to do my tattoo when i came back to the shop...but when i did more research, i found out that Person A is not who's work was in that book (probably a mix up). and tattoing isnt really their specialty, they pierce..Its the shop owner i think (Person B). how do i nicely ask to have my tattoo done by Person B instead?

Also, if you are really good at drawing the designs(Person A), does that mean you are also equally good at applying the tattoos?

I dont have any tattoos but I really want to get a full sleeve. My friend told me that I should get something small at first in case it hurts too much, but shes a sissy and I dont want something small. I know with a sleeve it will take several sessions but thats what I want. Should I go the wimpy route or just go balls out?

The original tattoo had the three hearts with the names in them. The top one is his wife and the bottom two are his daughters. 12 years later he is divorced from the wife and is getting re-married so he add's his fiance's name and her daughter's name.
