The original tattoo had the three hearts with the names in them. The top one is his wife and the bottom two are his daughters. 12 years later he is divorced from the wife and is getting re-married so he add's his fiance's name and her daughter's name.
By looking at this tattoo who would you say is more special/important to this person?

The new fiance' told him not to cover the ex wife's name because he has 3 children with her and she was a big part of his life for a long time.
And no I am not the new fiance' or the soon to be step daughter. I am his oldest daughter. I am Amanda!

Are you the fiance' or soon to be new step daughter? I think it was nice of him to even add the two people. His first family will always be near and dear to him, you can't change that, so I would just embrace the fact that he loves everyone involved in his life and that is a good thing. Don't make it a contest or you will certainly lose!!

I would say that they are all important to him. If the ex`s name bothers someone, at this point, because of so much fading it should be easy enough to cover. Have the two older girls names touched up and fill in the ex`s.

Personally I would say that it doesn't matter who other people think is more important to him as long as he knows which names are the important ones.
Again, personally, I think having anyones name other than immediate family (mother, father, children, grandparents) or a deceased loved one's name tattooed on you is tacky and will probably be regretted later in life.

Just by looking at it, you would think the first wife, then his daughters, then the fiance/daughter

noone, I did not see that any of them are more important. It is obvious that the names without hearts are add ons, but no biggie.

I say if he went througth all the pain of getting it done everybody is very important. If he didn't get the other names taken off then he must still care about them!!!

by looking at this tattoo, Id say the person should stop having people's names carved into his arm. Period.
Stop looking for confirmation that he likes someone else better than you.

he needs to have the whole ugly tattoo removed, it is just hideous. obviously he has to have his current love interest
more prominently displayed or she'll get jealous but he's probably a loser anyway.
