Of course tattoos hurt......if they didn't everybody would have one...... Personally I think that the iron-on tattoos hurt much worse than the stick on tattoos....but thats just me.

OK, so all people is extraordinary. what hurts one individual won't harm yet another. I am presently a couple of periods in on a leg sleeve and sure it hurts, however most of the time best after approximately four or five hours of steady tattooing. I in my opinion feel that it hurts extra over a bone, or different areas that don't seem to be as fleshy. You would possibly think the special reverse. Like I stated all people is extraordinary. I have one on my facet that did not harm, and one at the again of my shoulder that used to be, to me, a medium variety of anguish degree. I additionally agree that you just will have to undoubtedly devour earlier than hand, I've discovered that I have a tendency to get a little bit nauseous if I do not. Most tattoo artists will provide you a holiday for a couple of mins every time you wish to have it, you simply ought to ask. Definitely opt for it even though, it's valued at it to have the lovely paintings in your frame. Oh, and do not get a tattoo from the tattoo flash at the wall within the studio. You are close to assured to uncover many extra persons with the identical tattoo as you for those who do. It approach plenty extra for those who get a customized piece, to not point out you're going to have a one in every of a type piece of artwork.

I just got my first tattoo (lower back also) when I turned 18 in october, I thought it was gonna be much worse than it really was. Everyone's different about the pain, my cousin cried & me on the other hand just sat there & talked to the guy, I'm smaller than my cousin too I'm a size zero pants so I have like no fat on me at all & she has some, so it's really different for everyone. It's an irratating, annoying feeling but after a while you'll get use to it!

You'll be fine...! I had my first tattoo done in June on my lower back. It's quite large they said for a first tattoo but I got through it ok.Mine took about 4 hours.I've had 3 kids and compared to that it's a piece of cake. Yes it's a bit uncomfortable but not the sort of pain that brings tears to your eyes.Kinda felt like getting scratched quite hard repeatedly. I have a lot of bold black in mine and that makes it worse.Shading and the coloured parts where not as bad as the black. The outline is the most painful part and it is bearable.

Honestly, it depends on you and where your nerve endings are located. It actually doesn't matter that much on how much skin you have, or how much bone there is on the spot... just where your nerve endings are.
I have three tattoos: one on my inner wrist, one on the back of my neck (nape area), and one on my foot. I could barely feel my neck tattoo.. it felt more like a tickle than a needling piercing my skin. My inner wrist hurt a little, but not enough for my eyes to tear up or anything. My foot tattoo, however, hurt A LOT... probably the worst 20 minutes of my life, and it's not even a big tattoo -- just a bright, colorful star. I would sit through it again, though, because it was worth it.

It's not that bad. It depends where you get it. The lower back is common and many women, even weak ones can take the pain. If you were getting it on the bone, that would be different. It feels as though someone is scratching you in the same spot.

I have one on the top of my foot, it doesn't hurt that much, it feels like little stings throughout each line. When the guy got closer to my toes it did hurt, but there isn't a lot of skin and fat there. I am sure if it is on your lower back it wont hurt as much because there aren't little bones or anything. It just depends on your pain tolerance, its different for everyone.

No it does n't if u really be with the pain with awareness. I mean just feel how it hurts and just observe how it pains. Im really saying from then onwards the fear of pain will go. Im telling out of my experiance. Now im not afraid of any pain. Just be wiht it. It might look crazy what im saying as i had once thought so. But its empowering u to eliminate the fear of pain.

honestly i thought it was going to be a lot more painful than it actually was...but like someone already said it differs from person to person.
i sat 2 1/2 and 3 hour sessions getting one on my side
honestly after awhile it feels numb, if you get one that last that long
and my experience with shading is that it felt like they were slowly but surely shaving off my rib
but hey a really gorgeous guy did it. so sitting for that long was a plus haha

Differs from person to person. The lower back can be quite sensitive, especially if you are thin.
Some describe it like scraping your skin with broken glass for an hour.
To me it was like having a needle poke in and out of me a million times.
I was in the chair for 2 1/2 hrs, and I did alright.
