I just got a tattoo a few hours ago and I just took the bandage off and washed it. One part of it that is white has spots of blood on it that wont come off easily. I know I'm supposed to get all the blood off but when I rubbed it with a little more pressure my skin started peeling, so I stoped. Should I try to get the rest off or just leave it for tonight and try agian tomorrow. Please only answer if your positive. Thanks!

Thats normal when it dries to the skin, in the morning use what ever sort of lotion or oil that your artist recomended. And just use that, your skin is going to peel which is normal after tattoos. The blood will dry up and come off just fine. So try not to pick at it I know its hard but just remember your skin is trying to heal itself. Good Luck and enjoy your artwork!

Its normal, I wouldnt worry about it, if you bled constantly like everyone else does, then all that happened was the blood kept coming out even when the tattoo was done, and it dried up from the air in the atmosphere, just wash the tattoo with your finger and some unscented soap and warm water. Do not use alot of pressure when doing it. Really you should wash the tattoo an hour after getting it, for this reason. But some of the blood wont come off either way, it'll come off when it begins to heal and scab over. I know its a pain to wait, but its okay, just dont pick it off, you could ruin the tattoo. Keep it moisturized, I bet it'll come off the next time you take a shower. Thats when mine always came off, just remember dont let water stay on the tattoo and pat dry with a towel, and immediatly put bacitracin, A&D or whatever they told you to on it. I go with bacitracin, its the best for tattoos in my opinion, better than the tattoo goo too.

Mine did that. The blood will dry on there and it's hard to apply enough pressure to get it off... With the tattoo being sore and tender. Just take care of it the way the artist told you to and you'll be fine. It'll come off eventually. :)

just wash it with your fingertips and dial antibacterial soap every few hours (4ish times a day) i wouldn't worry about the blood if it doesn't come off. i have never had to worry about it, i never actually see if any blood is there because most of the tattoo work i have is on my back.

I would leave it for tonight, don't try & force it clean. Tommorow if its still there & stuck then go back to your tattooist for advice or visit your GP. When I had mine done mine bled and the blood was quite easy to wash off.

I would suggest to leave it....until tomorrow.

If tomorrow is the same and it doesn't improve, call the person who did ur tat! ask for explanations! :)

Hope everything goes well!

I have never had that problem with any of my tattoos.
Go see your artist or call him.
