Pick something you will appreciate when you're older. I have a chinese symbol for lust on my back from my younger days when I swore I'd never fall in love. Now 10 years married, when I do see it in the mirror, it reminds me of my old self and I really appreciate who I became.
Just make sure it reflects who you are.
Edit: I forgot to mention, it took me almost 2 years to finally get the Lust tattoo. It was not a spur of the moment thing. It was something that just ate at me until I finally walked into the tattoo shop and got it done.

if you're not sure what to get then you're not ready for a tattoo. trust me, the people who rush into getting a tattoo just because they can are the ones that end up regretting the tattoo in the long run. think about it and make sure that you know what you want and then chose a good artist to do the tattoo for you. not all tattooers are artists and certainly aren't all good. some are downright awful. tattoos are permanent so do everything you can to make sure you have a great one that you'll be proud of forever.

Oh I am SO SICK of everyone calling lower back tattoos "tramp stamps". Get over it already. It's prime real-estate. Good lord.
Anyway. As for your tattoo, I'd wait until you have something more meaningful to get. What do the stars really represent to you? Why not get something that'll mean something to you, not just a pretty design. You want to have a cool story to go with it, not just "well, I thought it was pretty".
Wait on it a little bit, and see what has really changed you. Something will come to mind. Good luck!

Lower back tattoos are played out. They are called a tramp stamp. Reconsider.
If you don't know then wait. and whatever you do dnt get it somewhere where you can see with regular day cloths on. You'll regret it if you go for a good job down the road.

Great, another hooker with a tramp stamp on her back. Well, at least you can get a job swinging on a pole. I suggest you just get the actual word "skank" put on you.

Its YOUR body, its YOUR decision.
If you have to ask on here, then you are obviously not ready for a tattoo. You may not like this advice, but its the truth.

If you have to ask, then you don't need to be going to get a tattoo. You will regret it later.
