i just got a small heart tattoo between my thumb and finger
i looks swollen and it hurrrrrrrrts like hell
is this normal?

A wrist tattoo is a VERY noticeable place to have a tattoo (yes you can cover it with a watch or bracelet very easily).

IF you were to have a wrist tattoo what Word or Phrase would you have? I don't want to hear people saying i'd never get a wrist tattoo because that isn't my question.

Because the wrist is should a visable place you'd have to have something special and something that wouldn't offend others.

So what phrase or word would you pick???

some people suggested i do this tattoo in color so here you go. which do you like best? i think i still like the black the best.

3 day old tattoo, just an outline in black.

I'm wanting to get a realistic, color tattoo of a momma giraffe and a baby giraffe. Im wanting to get it on my right side of my tummy about three inches to the right of my belly button and going around my right side and ending before my back. i want it to go from where my boobs end and my tummy begins to the middle of my hip. I was thinking maybe African scenery in the background but I'm not sure it would look good. (im aware its big lol, but thats what i want.)

it symbolizes my rough childhood. I always loved giraffes and I always wanted to see one, but my momma struggled & never had enough money to take the family anywhere. She really tried so hard though.. but we could just never get a break.

I had never left the area im from until I got older. I still have yet to see a giraffe and theres so much of the world I want to see. Especially Africa.

Sorry if that was sappy. Hah. Im just trying to give you a feel of the sentimental value of this tattoo.

I had a nipple ring and loved it. It lasted about 6 months. Then I tore it. I didn't feel it tear, but I saw the tear later. After that, it rejected on the side that tore. I had it removed and it healed. I have a scar where the rejection occurred. My piercer has offered to re-do it, but I'm not sure if I want to chance it. If I re-pierce, will it just reject again? Would a barbell instead of a hoop be better? (I've read that it reduces the pressure on the hole.) Thanks!

I am spending the weekend soon with my 3 sisters. I want us all to get a tattoo celebrating our sisterhood. I thought the Chinese symbol would be cool. Do you know where I can get an ACCURATE version of the symbol? I have looked on the web and keep finding different versions. Any other sister tat ideas are welcome, but the design must be very small. I am 17. And I already have my 1st tattoo. It is on my back in the shoulder area. It is a good place cuz you can't see it if I put a regular shirt on. My mom let me get that one. I want to get another one when I turn 18. But I want to have a good job and not have it show. I want to be a chef and I might have meetings and stuff that I need to look professional. I want one that is pretty and that I might be able to cover up. I really want one one on the top of my foot cuz I wear flip flops a lot. And I just love them there but I don't want to have to wear a big band aid on it. I am hopeing to be able to work on a cruise ship. Where should I put it or should I not get one at all. I don't want to regret it!

What do chicks think of guys with tattoos and/or piercings on guys? Now let me be more straightforward with my question. I'm just looking to change my image a little bit. I just want simple ear pierce on my left ear and a tattoo on my left arm either for a memory of someone or a word or two in latin or spanish about myself. Would that be too much to lose my nice personality or still make me not as tough looking as I'm trying to just get those things and still have a good image if you know what I mean. is it wrong of my husband to pretty much say i cant get another tattoo? i had 2 when we met and i had my tongue pierced and he knew i liked tattoos and planned on getting more as time goes on and such , im getting my grandmothers name in black and gray on my neck soon and he flipped out and said i would look like a slut with anymore tattoos and that i dont need to get any more because he doesnt like them is it wrong of me to get them anyways or is it wrong for him to act like this about it?

Ok I am thinking of getting a tattoo of my daughters names, I want an orange and a mardi gras mask with my daughters name under them, an orange because my oldest daughter was born in florida, and a mardi gras mask becuz my youngest was born in new orleans. What equipment would I need to obtain to get started? I am big into tattoos and have a bunch myself. I can get plenty of artwork for ideas to draw people but what do I need to do to get it started? I plan to pay my artists very well since I realize fat pockets keep employees happy. I am not greedy so this is a chance for us all to make good money.

About 10 years ago i got a third degree burn on my leg about the size of my fist. It healed over quite nicely but left behind a nice big scar. I was wondering if it is possible to tattoo over such a large area of scarring, or if it would distort the work too much?

i just got mine thursday night, and have kept it clean, uncovered, and lightly moisturized till now, and it has no signs of scabbing? my other two tattoos scabbed up.
