What do chicks think of guys with tattoos and/or piercings on guys? Now let me be more straightforward with my question. I'm just looking to change my image a little bit. I just want simple ear pierce on my left ear and a tattoo on my left arm either for a memory of someone or a word or two in latin or spanish about myself. Would that be too much to lose my nice personality or still make me not as tough looking as I'm trying to just get those things and still have a good image if you know what I mean. Any advice would be great. The first person to give me a good answer will get points. Thanks.

Johnny, having a tattoo and piercing wont change who you are deep down. If you want them that's fine but do it for your own reasons. As far as the tattoo take your time to really think it out and be set on what you are getting. Don't just wing it in the moment, really plan it out and put your soul into it because it will be part of you forever after all.
Personally, I can like or dislike them because I base it on the guy and if he's a nice with with or without he's still a nice guy in my eyes. A jerk will always be a jerk and doing these for show only puts a worse stigma on those of us (myself included) that choose to have tattoos and piercings. So, if you want to do it then go for it!

I'm a business person and I will share this advice which helped me decide on my tattoos and piercings - - make sure the subject of your tattoo is not offensive to anyone you may encounter, if the tattoo is large make sure you can cover it with clothing if you choose or if etiquette would call for it to be covered, and keep your piercings within reason.
A little thought ahead of time will save you alot of grief in the long run.
What I thought was cool when I was 19 and got my first tattoo is not what I think is cool today.
Working in a business environment I have been very careful about my tattoo choices and I've kept piercings to my ears.

i think tattoos on guys are very attractive. But i would get a tattoo that means a lot to you. Piercings are fine too. But you also have to have a great personality, girls look for that. If you want to get a tattoo or piercing go for it. I have three and i love them i also have my tongue pierced. My fiance getting tattoos soon. I can't wait. Just make sure that you really want them. Don't do it for anyone else but yourself. For me tattoos or piercings don't make you a bad person your personality and actions do.

While I am not sure if "chick" applies, I applaud you thinking about this before plunging in and marking yourself permanently. I am not a fan of either men in earrings or tattoos on anyone however, my husband wears an earring and has two tattoos (I insisted they didn't show if he wore a short sleeved shirt for job reasons) and I love him non the less. If you like that look and want to pursue then by all means. I hope you find tattoos that really mean something to you as you will have them even when you are old and wrinkled. Best of luck.

Guys with tattoos are hot! But I'm a girl with tattoos and piercings. If that's what you want to do then do it. Who cares what other people think. It's your body. Do what YOU want with it.

And it really wouldn't change you, it would change your apperance yeah, but if you still have a "nice personality" you're not gunna lose that by getting a couple of tattoos or whatever.

I WISH my man would catch up with me and get some tattoos and maybe a tongue piercing(HE enjoys the one I HAVE!). I think they are extremely hot!

I think it's more important to do it to express who you are than to change from being the image of one or the other. People can tell the difference in their gut.
