Ok I am thinking of getting a tattoo of my daughters names, I want an orange and a mardi gras mask with my daughters name under them, an orange because my oldest daughter was born in florida, and a mardi gras mask becuz my youngest was born in new orleans. Right now I live in Spokane, WA. what are some other ideas i can find for a tattoo with their names, and if u know any good sites for ideas or places here in Spokane where i can get the tattoo done.

i would skip the names and just do the imagery. i just personally don't like word tattoos, they aren't as attractive and tend to distract from the art in a tattoo. they should definitely be two separate tattoos because the two just don't go together. maybe one on each shoulderblade or something. if you are set on the name idea maybe you could do the mardi gras mask surrounded by a "magical" like smoky swirls with the name subtley in the swirls. not sure how you could work a name into the orange, maybe an orange with a leaf coming off of the stem and have the name in the leaf done in green...kindof hidden-ish? i guess that would depend on how long your florida daughter's name is.

I love it! I would put the mardi gras mask over the orange and drape some mardi gras beads around the bottom or have their names spelled out in like the beads.. How awesome..

Oh...I just re-read your question. So glad you're not going to try for the needle tattoo! These don't necessarily need to be permanent. Ink embedded in the dermis eventually turns a bluish hue and mixes with the surrounding tissue to look blotchy. Colors fade too. I'm sure you've noticed on people w/older tattoos how they end up with one tatto looking blue, faded & mixing in with surrounding tattoos so you can't make out even what it was unless you inspect closely. I know everyone's got them, it's a fad and permanent unless you pay for expensive removal which actually scars you. Please try out these temporary tattoos and look at the website front page has links to tons of pics to choose from!

maybe a very small orange or something else to signify the state
