Tattoos are permanent. Using Vaseline will only harbor infection. If you didn't want your tat, you shouldn't have gotten one, plain and simple. And next time, think things over before you do something like spend a chunk of money on something permanent.

If you're talking about creams etc, no, they don't work. At the most you'll see some fading. Looks like you'll just have to jump on the same bandwagon as everyone else who regrets their tattoos and start saving up for laser - nothing makes you more special or deserving of cheap tattoo removal than those people, and if it was possible people wouldn't spend thousands on laser surgery.

If it's only 3 days old it is still healing - so the Vaseline will pull out some of the ink (not all of it)
From what I have been reading you have to wait about 6 months before using any sort of removal system - for a laser treatment it might even be longer.

Uh-oh! You're STUCK! FORGET about home "remedies"- you're only asking for trouble. Go to a Laser tattoo removal place & see how much it'll cost to have it lifted. It might not be TOO bad- if it's just an Outline...

Vaseline wont pull the ink out but make it smear and could easily cause infection by trapping bacteria under the goo... Let it heal, look into getting a cover up or if you can stand to lazer it. Although, lazers don't even remove all the way more like fade the ink and in several small expensive sessions. This is why more thought needs to go into tattoos, sorry you don't like it. Take your time deciding if you get another one.

I agree with Wendy's answer
I am very curious as to why you got the tattoo to begin with and why you want to get rid of it after only 3 days. Can you let us know - thanks.

im afraid your stuck with that tattoo. the ink is under your skin , not on top of it. no amount of running with vaseline is going to get rid of it. you have to have laser tattoo removal. this is why people should be absolutely certain of what they they are getting before putting ink and needle to skin. good luck,
