A wrist tattoo is a VERY noticeable place to have a tattoo (yes you can cover it with a watch or bracelet very easily).
IF you were to have a wrist tattoo what Word or Phrase would you have? I don't want to hear people saying i'd never get a wrist tattoo because that isn't my question.
Because the wrist is should a visable place you'd have to have something special and something that wouldn't offend others.
So what phrase or word would you pick???

I know what wrist tattoo i'm getting, the reason for me asking is my friend throught it was a odd place for a tattoo as it's so visible and she said she'd never be able to work out what she'd have in such a visible place. I just wondered if people would have a hard time deciding.
I'm getting a phrase that means alot to me on one wrist and a heart on the other. Wrist tattoo are easy to show off and easy to cover up.

Oh man, tough question.
I'd love to get a wrist tattoo right by the bone on the inside of the wrist, under the thumb - a heart with crossbones beneath it. I don't think I'll ever end up getting it, but...It's a wish.
I think I'd probably end up getting something like the phrase "You make your own luck" in Arabic, maybe Hebrew that hugs the curve of the wrist in smaller letters - like you said, easy to cover with a watch/bracelet.
Another idea I had was to get some kind of bird in flight along the side to inside of the left arm/wrist. It'd have to be just a line drawing, no filler colors. I think a dark blue would be neat on that one.
Good question, made me think. :)

I am of Celtic decent so my choice would either be a small chain of Celtic runes or a Celtic or Gaelic phrase that held personal meaning for me. Most people would not even recognize what it was, so it couldn't really be considered offensive (at least by virtue of content. Some people are offended by tattoos in general regardless of what they are).

I got "A Fire Inside" some years ago because I was crazy about the band AFI. I ended up getting it covered (with a big scarab).
Careful what you put there; you have to look at it EVERY DAY!
Good luck! :)

Stop calling them "wrist tattoos". It's just tattooing that happens to be on your wrist. You make it sound too much like a specific "genre" of tattooing. I think this concept of it makes it too restricting; you're automatically leaning towards things that are too specific.

Get a short word that sums you up (or speaks of your personality)... like Strong, Free, Blessed.
Love is Life or Life is Love (if you use one of these last two, let me know) :) Whatever you get, it's yours...enjoy!
