I think if you are over 18 it is your body and your decision and does not matter what anybody else thinks. I also think that
if you are using a tattoo to "express yourself" you shouldn't
ask advice of people you know or strangers on yahoo regarding your tattoo - you can consider there opinions but don't make any decisions based on other peoples opinions only. Lastly I think you should think about where on your body you want the tattoo(s) and how it looks now and how it will look later. I have seen older peope and overweight people who's tattoos do not look as good on them now as they have when they first got them.
I am twenty seven and I got two tattoos when I was twenty five
one on my ankle which I felt would always look good there no
matter how much older or bigger I may get (I don't plan on getting bigger though) and one on my lower back which
I can keep covered when I get older - I obviously wont be wearing the type of bathing suit or clothing to show that tattoo when I am older.
My son's are nine, six, and two. I am not sure how I feel on a parent taking there teenager to get a tattoo. My son's (the older two) say that when they become teenagers and adults
they have no interest in getting any tattoos. They have plenty of time to change there mind. I guess if it was not a tattoo of a girlfriends name, a band, a singer, something that they wouldn't like forever then it would be okay.

a number of people have self assurance that obtaining tattoos is worshipping the devil becasue it says that in the process scripture. It additionally is going alongside with piercings being a sort of worship to pagan gods. i think that in the process immediately's day and age basically a handful of people beautify their physique's for ritualistic worship. i think that Christians ought to suck it up and settle for some issues for themselves quite of only doing each little thing becasue this is the way it has continuously been. Any type of prepared Christianity is only too ritualistic. If it makes any distinction i'm hoping to be a minister sometime and that i've got 4 piercings and finally 2 tattoos.

I have #26 tattoos -- just got one this past Wednesday and I am getting #27 next week.
I love all of my ink. I am not trashy or a circus animal, nor am I an attention seeker.
All of my tattoos have very special meaning to me. I hate when people look at me with disgust and I welcome the person that has enough guts to ask me about my tattoos. Once most people understand the meanings behind my tattoos, the more they seem to understand and respect me.
I so wish that people did not "judge the book by the cover".

For awhile I told myself it wasn't the way I would choose to express myself. But lately, since I'm getting a little bit older,I'm debating whether it's a good way in expressing yourself or not.And right now I'm still stuck. If girls have a lot of tattoos that don't really mean anything then I think it looks a little trashy.
Though,I'm inspired by Kat Von D and her tattoos.I'm still not sure.I like how tattoos look by the hip bone, just a small one.If I do ever get a tattoo I would get it there, either a peace sign or a sparrow.(Sparrows represent freedom, and the peace sign isn't for the "trend" it's for my belief.)
Hope this helped :)

I love tatoos, as long as they have a meaning behind them. It annoys me when people get tattoos because everyone else has a "flagship on their ankle". I do tattoos, and I am tattooed. I have over 30 tatts and all but one I drew myself, all have meaning to me. I love being able to express myself any way I choose.

I love tattoos. I love getting tattoos. I love the meaning of tattoos, though I do have one with absolutely no meaning whatsoever. Do I regret it? No. The way I see it, every tattoo I have and will eventually get will represent something I liked at the point in my life. My tattoos are a constant reminder of how I became who I am. Even if a tattoo has no "deep, spiritual" meaning or any other crap like that, it's mine, it's something I wanted, and if people don't like it, don't look. It's not your problem.

The only opinion that matters is the one of the person with the tattoos. People will judge others anyway just don't let it get to you. I have one and love them. It's an entirely personal expression that no one else can copy because it's your life not theirs. I say let people hate without trying to get to know, it's their loss and shows a far more judgmental character.

i think there great. I would love to get one but I dont want something that is common. So im still unsure. But I love tattoos, and I also find it hilarious when some people have them that just seem like the very opposite of tattoos. idk. the other day i went to the store and i saw this preppy looking older lady who had this skull with a flame coming out of its head. it was on the back of her neck.

I love them, I love getting them, and I love the meaning that goes into them. But I do think ppl should think about what they get more than they sometimes do. I don't think ppl should get sometime becuase it's "cute" or cuase it's a popular tattoo to get. I think that ppl should really think about what they get, and make sure it has meaning in it. So that way when you are 80 you are still proud of them and want to show them off.

I like them and don't think less of someone for having them. I've seen some gorgeous art on people. However, I have to admit that I might think a little less of someone's taste if they have a terrible tattoo (something like Taz or an auto company logo or badly done kanji on a non-Japanese person)
