So, when people have asked questions on tattoos many times I come across someone simply putting "Leviticus 19:28" and telling them to read into it. I myself am not highly religious, but I do have some faith in me. So I looked into it. Then I came upon a site of highly devoted christians that are tattooed. They explain the conviction well and on the same not put that to rest.
You can view this site:

So I'm kind of wondering, where do people still come off in believing God hates tattooed people?
I've also heard of some kind of mythology or religion where some sort of god or saint judges you by the tattoos covering your body. It's supposed to show an adverturous life and will grant you to move on past him...something along those lines.
Anyone know what that is?
I'm just interested in the whole idea of religion and tattoo. I'm sure its been discussed through and through but I'm too lazy to go back and look.

I have psoriasis that will not go away. I've been told that any trauma to the skin could cause my psoriasis to flair up in that spot. I go tanning every other day to try and keep it under control, it's supposed to help. Has anyone dealt with this before? Will the constant tanning fade my tattoo if I get color?

I need a tattoo artist in Philly or DC metro areas who know Korean (whether they ARE Korean or not doesn't matter much). I just don't want someone who doesn't know Korean to do this tattoo.

Where do you work that allows you to have visable tattoos? I'm in sales and technically I'm not allowed to wear my tongue or nose ring but I don't take them out, much less have any visable tats. They would really fire me for that.

I know what I want, and everyone thinks this is crazy, but I know a good artist could draw it to look nice. I am a Leo so I want a sorta lion & fairy combination. Something with lion features but that is femine. Strong, but delicate, like I like to think I am. Does anybody know where I could find a picture of something like this, or someone that could draw it?

Hello! I'm planning on getting a patriotic heart tattoo and was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to a position for it. I am a female, only 20, and want it to be "discreet" because it is the first and only tattoo I want to get. I am also a bit concerned with the pain, but I understand it's going to hurt no matter where I get it. I was thinking on my breast, but then I just read a bunch of websites/articles about getting it there - and I do plan on having kids someday and wouldn't want it to look "icky" after that. Please let me know your suggestions!

Anybody with a tattoo on the elbow, or the inside of the elbow (ditch). How was your pain and healing experience?

It'll stay there for life and it's hard to get rid of.

Am I the only one here thinking "DUH?"

The permanancy is the point of a tattoo. They hurt. On most inteligent people, they mean something. Why the hell do you think they'd want to make it go away?

It is 5 days old, solid black and blue coloring, my artist told me to heal it with vaseline intensive care avanced healing fragrance free lotion only. The scab that is on it is no thicker than a couple pieces of paper, and I have not picked it off, but about 75% of it has came off on its own will.

I've went to my artist and he assures me it will fill in and get brighter, and if it doesn't he does touch ups for free. The guys isn't a scratcher, I've seen some of his work on other folks and it looks fine. I just want to try to confirm what he says is true.

Where is the best place to have a small tattoo so that it can be hidden when needed and shown when wanted, without getting stretched too much throughout life - with pregnancy/ageing etc. i have a large mole in the centre of my lower back so need other ideas.

My tattoo is 5 days old now, it is solid black and blue; the black is pale and some of the coloring seems splotchy.

Please, no "tramp stamp" comments. That's ridiculous. There are only so many hide-able places to put a tattoo.

I am a working mom, very busy...but I love to draw. I love tattoos and have several myself, from small to medium. I plan on getting many more. I have even drawn one for myself.
I have been interested in becoming a tattoo artist for a while..Any suggestions? Places to look? Or what would be the best way to practice?

I have a tattoo I want and I want to get it on my forearm. However, I am in a professional position and constantly around people, while I would like to say I am not worried about what people think, I have to be. I have been thinking about getting it for a while and this is the only draw back. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
