My fresh tatt(some color work) of 10 days is doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Healing and peeling and stuff. The dang thing woke me up at 5 am itching like mad! I finally got up and put an icepack on it for about 5 mins. It still itched but I was able to get back to sleep. Yes, I put lotion on to keep it from getting dry and following all my aftercare instructions. So I guess my question is: Has anyone else found relief with an ice pack for itchy tatts? My back tatt was not this complicated...lol And no, I DO NOT scratch..I slap.

I am Scottish Canadian, I have a Scottish flag on my back under my code of arms with two scotsmen on ether side I also have two Bagpipers on both my caves, My kids on my arms and a celtic knot on my forearm. I want to come up with something that is Canadian. (not hockey)

I got my first tattoo (peace sign) october 24, 05'. we had a misunderstanding and he filled in what supposed to be color with some black. I love my tattoo and couldn't have designed better myself. but just curious if its ever happened to somebody!

i got a tattoo 4 days ago, last saturday, and the pain is still so bad that i dont want to move. i got a pretty good size tattoo on my lower back, i figured it would hurt for a little bit but nothing like this. i broke my tailbone twice and i have a lot of back pain from it and most of my back pain is in the same area as the tattoo. some say that it takes 5-10 days to heal and the pain to go away but being in the 4 day its seems just as intense if not a little more. should i be worried, do you think the needles affected my broken tailbone? i'm debating on going to the doctor, dont want to unless there are reasons for me to worry. anyone have any comments that could help i would appreciate it very much.

I have an almost 3 month old septum piercing with a doctor's appt tomorrow for my asthma. I'll have it flipped up but I just don't know the likelihood of him accidently seeing it and don't know if he'd mention it to my mom or not.

I don't do well with pain but want to get a tattoo on my shoulderblade so it can be shown off if I want it to be seen but if I don't want anybody to know its there I can cover it up with no problems...can anybody tell me about how bad it will hurt to get it done??? think it will be about 3 x 5 or so when it is done...

im 18 and recently got a tattoo on my inner forearm, its just a word in chinese and its completely visible when i wear a t shirt. its about an inch and a half long.

I like it but wut im afraid of is not being able to get a job cuz people dont like seeing tattoos.

i know when i worked at mcdonalds for 2 years they didnt let visible tattoos and peircings. Now im gonna go and apply for part time jobs. but i dont know wut to do when i go in for an interview or when i start working and they see it for the first time. do i hide it during the interview? and if they want to hire me should i tell them about it?

Any ideas?? I love tattoos, I have plenty of my own and he likes them and I think that it would really spice up our marriage beacause I think that tattoos are super attractive. He notices me look at passing gyes that have them and knows there a huge turn on for me but any suggestions on how to lightly persuade him towards one?? Even if its only me that sees it?? :)

I want to get a tattoo with something to do with my mom and dad, and say Mom and Dad. I want to get it something on my chest. The thing is, I dont really want it right in the middle because then when I wear low cut shirts, thats all you'll see. And Im big on evenness, so having it on one side wouldnt do. I was thinking Mom on one side and Dad on the other. But I need some ideas! Any you have is appreciated!

hi all...getting inked in 3 weeks and just had some questions re: aftercare..

It's going to be on my lower back on my left side (no not on my spine - ouch and below my ribs - ouch)

I know that while healing, you aren't supposed to wear really fitted clothing on it...baby tees ok....but since the tattoo is going to be near my waistline where my jeans hit, after the tattoo is healed, do tight clothing still ruin or wear the tattoo? Or is it going to be one of these circumstances where I should move my tattoo up a little so that it won't get worn by my pants.
