I know that you shouldn't wear makeup when your young, but what age can i start to wear makeup, so that it dosen't damage my skin?

This is how I've been wearing it for years. I'll put it on, smudge it with a foam tip or with my finger, and apply a bit of mascara to the lower lashes as well as the upper. Someone told me recently that under-eye liner looks brutal and harsh a lot of the time and few people can pull it off. Is this true?

I do it in a variety of colours, too -- sometimes dark and bold, sometimes softer.

I go tanning about twice a week, i am well aware that when i get older i will have alot of wrinkles because of tanning. Is there a way to prevent this from happening, other than not tanning?

ive read you have to put liquid foundation on first then powder. My mum just uses powder, I use translucent powder but not liquid foundation. Is it really important to use it?

I normally do not wear make-up. Actually, I never really have incorperated make-up into my routine. I normally feel very self-consious when I do manage to put make-up on. Is that normal?

Anyway, I'm looking to start putting on make-up daily. What are some steps for good natural looking day-time make up? What are some steps for natural looking evening-make up? Last but not least what is your brand of make-up? I think I'm going to try Clinique brand but I'm not too sure what exactly is the best for a natural look. Thanks for your answers!

I'm from china and chinese people are yellow race.
all chinese women want white complexion, a lot of chinese women use cosmetic to make their complexion whiter.

a chinese woman would be very happy if you told her that her complexion is very white.

Is this disgusting but, my nose is very "Scaley" with blackheads (I think they are blackheads anyway). But I've tried Biore, Clean and Clear, Noxzema, Avveno, bascially everything and nothing seems to work. I opened up this package my sister sent me... I couldn't believe it -- it was full of brand new, full-sized NARS makeup! 6 beautiful items, from lipstick to eyeshadow to gloss to powder. Except when I opened them, I saw that they were all used! Not extensively, but enough so you could tell a finger or two had been dipped in there. So gross! I emailed my sister to ask where the makeup came from, and she said they were "free samples" but that she'd just had to try them before she mailed them out!

Normally I don't even test makeup in stores, because it grosses me out how many germs are on those things. Honestly, I don' know if i feel comfortable using this makeup now. And the whole thing actually made me feel really bad! Like I got all excited about a gift and then I couldn't even use it. So the containers are all sitting here taunting me but I don't feel comfortable. It's weird, it's definitely the germ factor... but also that the newness of my "gift" is gone.

How would you feel?
