you need a steady hand, practice is the only way. Also, don't make it too thick, because the liquid liner is so dramatic, it takes less for that effect you're looking for. Less is more.

Only use liquid eyeliner on top of your eye start at the edge and move to the other. You have to hold the brush very steady and don't put it on too thick. Use solid pencils for bottom of the eye. You could do a flick at the end of your eye with the liquid eyeliner it looks dramatic but it's deadly. I do my eyeliner like that and I've gotten loads of compliments. Practise makes perfect

Try putting the index finger of your left hand (if your right handed) in the corner of the eye (furthest from the nose) and pulling so it stretches the skin of the eye you're trying to put the eyeliner on. Then draw a thin line across your top eyelid, right to the corner by your finger. On the bottom, start about a third of the way away from your nose, otherwise it looks far to heavy.

Then, because you've stretched the skin slightly, the line wont seem as thick, and it'll look far better

I can't put it on the bottom only on the top.

Start about the middle of your lid - right over the center of your pupil. Get the tip as close to your lash line as possible. Angle the liner so that you are pulling it in the direction that you are making the line. Keep working to the outer corner of your eye and drag the liner up at the corner slightly for the cat eye effect.

Then I take a dark eyeshadow and blend it on the top and bottom lash line to make my eyes look smoky. Unless you have huge eyes, you don't want to line your bottom lashes with a liner anyway - just use a small brush and eyeshadow it!

It helps to practise with a really thin liner at first - when I first started to use liner I was advised to stretch the outer-most corner of my eye outwards with one hand, then try and apply - it really works! I got a smooth line like I wanted. Bottom of the eyes a little more difficult, and can be painful if you try it the wrong way. I never put liquid liner on the bottom, always use pencil.

I put the liquid on the top lids only, and normal kohl on the bottom, but never around the full eye as it looks ridiculous.

You need a steady hand, and try put the liquid eyeliner on in one go,

good luck

First wipe the brush on the edge of eyeliner tube
so there`s not to much on brush
Then look in a mirror with a hand that's as steady t as possible Start at inner eye to the outside as close as possible to eye lashes
Bottom eyelashes i start from the middle outwards if you make a mistake have the baby buds ready i think its best to practise with a eye liner pencil if your new to it
You will soon be able to do it

stretch the top of your eye so that it becomes flat.. and with a steady hand draw a line. if the line is too thick or you have made mistakes,, put a little make up remover on a cotton bud and wipe down.. or up for the bottom of eye..!!

but i always find when i wear liquid eyeliner on top of my eye i look like i have droopy tired eyes..! even though the line is very thin! but its different for different people of course

hope this helps

Put liquid eyeliner on the top eyelid first have your arm resting on a table or something steady that won't move then slowly draw across your eyelid. Afterwards do the same for the bottom of your eyelid .Hope this helps

practice practice practice! its the only way. youll get there, & youll get better each time you try. the bottems hardest as it cant go into your eye, but when you have it on, look up for about 2 mins letting it dry. then do the top. sratd from the outside. not the inside, youll have a big clump in the inside if you start there. & try to do it as thin as you can. the tinner the better it looks as you dont look like it actually took ages over it. get black & gray eyeshado & use that aswell(with a brush, not one of the little eyeshado things you get with the eyeshado. you no the blusher brushes? well the ones that are similar to them but much smaller, it'll give your eyes a more sexy look) if you aint got a steady hand. make your eyes all smokey & hot. youll love it =]
