Whatever you do, don't use blue! The point of eye shadow is to DRAW OUT the eye color. If you have blue eyes and put more blue next to it, who's going to look foremostly at your eyes? The best colors for blue eyes are rich, warm browns or peachy colors.
Blue eyes are gorgeous!

copper colors.
red is at the opposite end of the color wheel. copper is a red/orange color. red would make you look like you've been crying. blue eyes tend to get super blue after crying.
if you don't have any readily available, pull out your colored pencils. draw an eye. color the eyeball blue and above it copper. this way you can see how the color 'pops' before you purchase a special color of shadow.

I used an almost electric- blue eyeliner from Bed Head, Sounds scary but it is awesome!! Or use the denim colored liner from avon(Mark).Neutral color shadows with them work well! It makes your eyes look turquoise. Looks really good. Don't over do the liner and lightly shadow. You can also use Estee Lauder's gold shadow duo with the liner, looks well too!!

Use eye liner, then do like a black eye shadow, and it will make them beautiuful. My best friend does it, and it makes your eyes stand out especially if they are blue. It doesn't sound like it would but trust me, or if you want you can use WHITE eye liner it will make your eyes pop it makes that very pretty! Try that good luck :)

Believe it or not, brown is the best color to make blue eyes stand out. You should use complementary colors not the same color as your eye.

Here's what I use on mine: Golds, browns and either rose or peach depending on your skin tone. These colors are also neutral and will work with pretty much anything you wear. I also line the inside of the lower lid with white pencil to make the whites of the eyes look brighter.

I use use Maybelline rose tints, crown jewels, or berry chic; they are a usually 2 or 3 variations of a color that is kind of a mix of pink and purple, looks better than it sounds I promise. Use the light color on your lids and the darker on your brow bone, don't apply the latter too heavily though or you'll look scary.

I use to do theater make-up in school and the bronze/gold color definetly makes your blue eyes more noticeable.
Oh and don't always match your eyeshadow with your clothing. It doesn't always look good...just a tip, lol.

I have grey blue eyes and asked the lady at MAC this same question. She pointed me to two colours - gold and copper. These colours are quite contrasting with blue so should work.
