Makeup - January 2007

I am 33. When I use eye liner (black or brown) I look older. When I don't use eye liner I look plain. Any advice?

i use the lancome adaptive foundation..
last time i bought it from boots and it cost about £25 so i thought it mite work out cheaper if bought it over internet?
will it b an older line of stock tho???
is it best t buy it and pay more from a drg store or less over internet??

I find it really difficult to not look gay after applying black eyeliner or eyeshadow. My friends encourage me to apply it, though, but they seemed to be unsatisfied with the results after I applied it and told me it doesn't fit me.

So, please suggest some ways I could apply it in a more masculine way?

I have seen the infomercials on Bare Minerals Makeup, that states it is "so natural and pure you can sleep in it".

I am 36 (but look 10 years younger!) no wrinkles, am very fair with freckles. No major skin issues...occasional breakout and slightly oily T-zone, but my skin is a little sensitive. Because I am so fair, makeup is a challenge to not look like I'm wearing a mask.

Anyone who has used this product, your input would be fantastic before I spend so much $$$ on it.

i have pretty tanned skin, dark brown hair and my favourit feature is my eyes becase i have super duper long eye lashes and my eyes are like an autumm green colour, i dont know how id explain it, like the colour of a leave, maybe a bit darker but there far off from brown. i would realy like to show off my eye colour, ive been using a dark brown but are they any other colours because my eyes are a bit slanted therefore a reallly really dark colour isnt always good.. any ideas.. please :)?

I can't wear top liner or eyeshadow because after an hour or so the oils in my eyelids make it all, for a lack of a better word, nasty. I end up with color in the crease of my eyelid. It's very unbecoming and makes it very hard for me to wear stage makeup when I want/need to act. So if any one has any suggestions I'll give them a try! I don't mind if I sounds bizarre, as long as it's very cheap and works!
