I have green eyes and the color that makes them pop the most is purple. However, I wouldn't necessarily recommend full out purple shadow all day long every day.

Day makeup: If you want a natural look with a little bit of pop, line your eyes with a dark purple liner or take an angled shadow brush and use a plum powder as a liner. I would pair that with a neutral brown or a shimmery highlighter on the eyelid. Then use a light highlighter below the eyebrows.

Evening makeup: Line your eyes in the same manner as the day. Then apply a light purple shadow on the eyelid and a darker shadow in the crease. Apply your highlighter on the eyelid same as in the day.

Of course be sure to curl your lashes and apply mascara when finished. If you're not comfortable with wearing purple makeup, then try a purple top or headband to bring out the color in your eyes.

I have green eyes and find that I can wear any colour except blue or yellow (although I have quite olive skin)!
Purple *really* emphasises my eye colour (purple and green are opposite on the colour wheel, so compliment each other), as to a lesser extent do pinks and bronzey colours.
I also wear a really nice peacock green by Ruby and Millie which seems to work really well too.

Don't be afraid of trying new colours, and see what works not only with your eye colour but your skin tone too.
Have fun experimenting!

I have green eyes and use Sumptuous Olive by MAC. Its really brings out the colours in my eyes. On the days when I don't want to dazzle (!!! ha ha) I wear dark browns or silvers.

Other than that wear a green top too, that will bring out your eye colour,

Dark colours will really emphasise the green in your eyes. Go with dark green (perhaps slightly metallic) and browns for best effects. Brown mascara to finish the look.

Pinks and purples can be nice, if you use them sparingly. Too much pink(opposite color of green) can make you look bloodshot. Neutrals and flesh tones are best for every day, and sometimes a little brown. My eyes are hazel, but there's still green in them. So sometimes a little shell pink can bring out the green.

A soft neutral bronzy color. It will emphasize the green in your eyes. Also a nice deep violet also brings out the green.

Rule for eyeshadow. Never use the same color eyeshadow as your eye color.

Green or black. Both will make your eyes more green. My eyes are changeable (blue/grey/green) And always look a really nice green with these colours. I like emerald city by Lancome. Its a really nice vivid colour that looks great and lasts hours (especially if you apply it wet).

Depends what kind of image you are going for..
If it is just day wear and subtle, then I suggest a pale, slight sparkle cream/white, and then highlight the shadow area of your eye with an almond brown.
If its something to make your eyes stand out then I alaways turn to purple! Stick with the white/cream idea an highlight with a deep purple. People always comment on the colour of my eyes when I wear purple!

But this all depends on the shape of your eye. Some eyes look fantastic with shadowing, and yet...other look like they have a medical condition!!!

i think you should use a neutral colour because green eyes stand out as they are and they are beautiful so if you want to use eyeshadow, neutral colours will be good.

Something in the purple family...and depending on the for what occasion the color should be darker or lighter. Almay makes a set of eyeshadow for specific eye colors, and it really enhances the color of your eyes, I love it personally.
