I have very sensitive skin, and my Dermatologist told me the reason why most woman breakout from makeup is due to the filler bismith oxychloride. I see a lot of people suggest bare minerals, but it is not a completely natural makeup as they believe. Check out the ingredients, and you will see that it contains bismuth oxychloride. Bismith oxychloride is the by-product of lead and copper refining. It is also related to arsenic. I suggest getting a makeup without the chemical and see the difference. Here is some information on bismith oxychloride, which is found it pretty much every makeup line. http://www.selfgrowth.com/articles/Starner1.html
Conventional foundation is made with 90% fillers and 10% color pigment. Fillers such as talc, oil, preservatives, dye and fragrances are the number one cause for breakouts and skin irritations.
I found another brand called Bella Pierre, and it truly is hypo allergenic and only made of minerals. I purchase mine at http://www.bpcosmetics.com
Bella Pierre can also be purchased at http://www.bellapierre.com but for double the price of what you can get it at http://www.bpcosmetics.com
I too have fair skin, and have been using their mineral foundation called ivory. It goes on so lightly and evenly. It is a very natural look for me. As well, it feels like I am not even wearing any makeup.
Whenever I order from bpcosmetics.com, I receive my makeup within 3 days and shipping is $5.00, can't beat that at all! Also, if you are interested, I just received a coupon code from them for 10% off the order. The code is PROMO, and I think it said it was good till the end of february.

Bare Minerals is fantastic. I have the same type of combo skin but most foundations would cause breakouts. I ordered the kit on line but found I don't use the warmth or the finishing powder. The best way is to find a Sephora store so you can try it out to find the best shade for you. My daughter is very fair and she uses the "fairly light" and never looks made up.
Now that we both know our shades we order from Sephora on line. We also use Sephora lip gloss and shimmer powders.
Also, a kabuki (Sp?) is needed for best application. I don't even use the one bare minerals sent. I got a cheap one a Walgreen's and it works great. Be sure and use very little and swirl it on and I think you will be very pleased.

bareMinerals foundation ($25) is the loose-powder foundation that put bare escentuals on the map and it is the backbone of this makeup line. This talc-free, mica-based powder has a soft, almost creamy texture and an undeniably shiny finish. The titanium dioxide and bismuth oxychloride lend this powder its opacity, medium coverage, and slightly thick finish. Nine shades are available, and they tend to lean a bit too far into the rose and peach zones, but not enough to avoid them. However, if this type of foundation with all of its trappings appeals to you, Jane Iredale’s Amazing Base SPF 20 ($35.50) offers a smoother formula, an effective titanium dioxide–based sunscreen, and more neutral colors--not to mention a pressed-powder option for those who don’t want to deal with the fallout from loose powder!

STAY AWAY FROM BARE MINERALS!!! It is so bad for you!
Bare Minerals contains fillers such as bismith oxychloride, methalparaben, and polyparaben.
Just so everyone knows methalparaben which again is found in Bare Minerals has been linked to cancer/breast cancer....
Bismith oxychloride is a by product from lead and copper.

I found that Bella Terra Cosmetics has a better product. It costs a little more but they are always running daily deals. http://www.bellaterracosmetics.com
